I’ve made a 10 day trip in August 2023 especially to Beijing and Guilin. I highly recommend Top China Travel and Mrs. Tang Joyce. Excellent service, professionally organized itinerary, available and supporting all the time, absolutely great job. I was really happy that Tang Joyce arranged so many different sight seeing and cultural (and culinary) things in such a short time without any hurry or time pressure. The TCT homepage with Travel Tips helped me a lot to prepare myself and to dive into an amazing country. Local guides and drivers are absolutely professional and reliable. Many thanks to Olivia and the driver in Being and to Billy in Guilin. Great job. In March 2024 I’ve booked another 15 Visa free day trip for May to June 2024 (Beijing, Luoyang, Datong, Harbin, Hunchun) with Top China Travel and Tang Joyce but due to a very unforeseen personal reason I was not able to make the trip. I’m now planing to do the same 15 day trip in 2025 with Top China Travel and Tang Joyce. I highly recommend TCT and Tang Joyce to anyone planning a trip to China.

We went for a 14 days "classic" China tour, staying in Beijing, Datong, Pingyao, Xi'an, Guilin,Shanghai and Suzhou. The organization was perfect, drivers and guide encountered in each location were kind, helpful and experienced. We had as well the opportunity to taste local foods recommended by the local guide. The experience was great and we enjoyed it so much. I strongly recommend this tour operator. A personal suggestion for the travellers would be to spend more time in Shanghai and less in Suzhou.

I booked this trip in advanced, and during the visit there were other people who paid half we paid. I am not happy with this. I have to mentioned the trip was worthy. So I do recommend it, but I sugggest to book in the destionation, in the hotel or other agents instead. Regards,

Unfortunately we had only a few days in Guilin and could only spare one single day for this area. As we where a family of four, we decided to hire a private car, driver and English speaking tour guide for the day. Cost was a total of 2,900RMB, which included the car, driver, guide, entry fee to the park, minority long hair show & round trip cable car. Drive was 2.5 hours which was ok as we had a mini van. The minority long hair show was in my opinion a joke as it was not only poorly and careless performed, but so tacky and touristy its not funny. However, you get a few good pictures out. The rice terraces are stunning and if you pick a clear day, its a bonus. We took the cable car up and walked down to see the villages a bit closer - took about 45min. All together, we left again at 2pm so its a very long drive for only a few hours sightseeing. I was told that the better option would be to stay a bit closer in Longsheng and avoid the long drive in one day. Also, i was told to avoid this area on china's holiday, especially at the spring festival in October as the traffic is piled up to the mountain for miles and you could end up sitting in your car for hours.

The village was a lot of fun and the rice terraces were beautiful! Highly recommend.
