Our interactive Jack the Ripper Tour is unlike any other; there are a million and one Jack the Ripper tours, but ours puts a special emphasis on the victims and their lives before they met a brutal end. With a “Ripperologist” guide and detective pack in hand you and a group of fellow detectives will delve into one of the world’s most perplexing unsolved mysteries. In order to solve the crime you’ll have to immerse yourself in the world of the Ripper. Retrace the killer’s steps as you visit real crime scenes, hear true, chilling tales, and learn about the lives and deaths of his victims. After wandering around Whitechapel and collecting clues we’ll conclude at Mitre Square where we’ll discuss theories about the possible identity of the Ripper and the enduring legacy of this captivating mystery. Whitechapel

Despite being a trendy neighbourhood in modern day London, Whitechapel has a dark past. Plagued with a bad reputation in the Victorian era as an impoverished neighbourhood, it was riddled with crime on every corner. Here we’ll retrace the steps of the Ripper and learn about the lives and gruesome deaths of his victims while visiting real crime scenes. We'll start the tour in Altab Ali Park, once home to the white church that gave Whitechapel its name. This is where we'll discuss the life and death of Polly Nichols, the Ripper's first victim. Then we'll head to Hanbury street to talk about Annie Chapman. As we explore London's East End you'll be able to imagine the terror that gripped the streets as we describe the double event: the murders of Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes in quick succession. We'll finish the tour in Mitre Square where the Ripper's final victim, Mary Jane Kelly met her brutal end.
