Overview

Enjoy an unforgettable 360° view on Lima ! Discover the wonderful colonial and republished architecture of the Historic Center of Lima, a World Heritage Site, the place where the city was founded in 1535.   • Huaca Pucllana

    We will pass by important emblematic places such as the Archaeological Center of Huaca Pucllana, the oldest evidence of Miraflores built 1500 years ago, then we will appreciate beautiful republican residences of European and American influence that are preserved in Miraflores. The bus will continue to San Isidro (the financial capital ) modern and exclusive district of the city.

  • Circuito Magico Del Agua

    We will continue to El Parque de la Reserva, a historic place where Peruvian reservists gathered to defend our city during the Pacific War conflict, today a popular city park called the Magic Water Circuit created in 2007 and holds the Guinness Record for being the largest fountain complex in the world in a public park.

  • Centro Historico de Lima

    After, we will visit the colonial city, the place that was the capital of the viceroyalty of Peru of Spain, where we can see colonial mansions, balconies, palaces, Plaza San Martín, an important public space that bears the name of the liberator of Peru Don José de San Martín who proclaims the independence of Peru on July 28, 1821, then we will walk through the pedestrian streets of the historic center with the guide where we will visit the Plaza Mayor or Plaza de Armas, the place where the most important buildings of the government of Peru are located, such as the Palace Presidential, the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, the Archbishop's Palace, the Union Club and the Cathedral of Lima.

  • Museo del Convento de San Francisco y Catacumbas

    You will visit the convent of San Francisco de Lima and its famous catacombs. The tour of the Lima catacombs is completely underground and lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Admire the vaults built with brick, lime and stone, while at the bottom you can see how the bodies were arranged for better distribution.

Good first day overview

When arriving in a new city, these type of tour busses usually provide a good way to have you see some of the main areas you may not want to miss. This one did not disappoint. The rooftop gives a nice way to get above traffic and fences, giving a relatively good view. It traversed much of the main Lima districts. Part of the tour is a walking tour and church/catacombs visit which I wouldn't have done if it wasn't for this tour. Near the end the guide gave the option of returning to the originating point or staying at the city center. I chose to stay and explore and get back on my own. Would really recommend to anyone who is visiting Lima for the first time.

Great tour of Lima. Bring snacks as the tour was quite long. Included a stop at the cathedral and a stop at a souvenir shop where we tasted various pisco sours.
