    The largest butterfly flight aviary & exhibit in Australia. Situated next to the Kuranda Markets, it is home to over 1500 tropical butterflies. Wander through the aviary's lush tropical gardens and breeding laboratory to learn more about a butterfly's life cycle & behaviour.

  • Skyrail Rainforest Cableway

    Glide over and through the canopy of the ancient rainforest and marvel at the spectacular views from Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. There are two stops along this gondola journey where you can alight and explore the rainforest from within.

    Choose the Rainforestation Package if you would like to visit this wonderful nature park. See Australian wildlife in their wildlife park, and take an amphibious Army Duck tour through the rainforest. PLEASE NOTE: NO free time in Kuranda if this option is selected

Enjoyable day trip Variety experience with sky ride over canopy of rainforest, koala park where you can take pics with cute koala and the scenic train journey was a great trip Barron falls was majestic

The tour was well-organized, with all services provided on time. The bus was comfortable, and the explanations were precise and clear.

Great experience with scenic views and some wildlife. Went during wet season and the falls were in full flow.

Great way to see the rainforest!

We enjoyed the scenic views of the rainforest. We took about 1/2 hour bus ride to the sky tram and took that up to Kuranda. The views were spectacular. There were 2 stops to see the forest and a waterfall. You have time to Kuranda where you can pay to do other things or walk around and shop. We then took the railway back down. The ride through the forest was beautiful and they told us some history abojt the train and area. The trip was very organized, staff was great. It was a fun day!

The Skyrail gives you an amazing view of the rainforest. Even saw some Kangaroos in a field. Kuranda takes you back to what the world looked like 100s of years ago. The village had many interesting art items. Loved this excursion.
