Overview

We combined the scenic nature trails of UNESCO World Heritage Site Kinabalu Park with a treetop adventure taking you 40 meters above the spectacular wilderness of Borneo’s ancient rainforest on a canopy walk in Poring Hot Springs. On this full-day guided tour, you will drive through the picturesque countryside and stop at a local market. Enjoy the ride through the rolling hills of Kundasang, Ranau and take a soak in Poring’s well known mineral rich hot springs. Check with your tour guide, because if you're in luck, the giant rafflesia may be in bloom at Poring.

    Take a walk on the famous “Jambatan Tamparuli” suspension bridge and soak up the small-town charm.

  • The Nabalu Market

    Nabalu Market is a rustic point perched on the hillside, where the local natives gather to sell local produce, fruits, home grown vegetables and handicraft souvenirs. At the viewpoint, you may see a full view of Mount Kinabalu on a good day.

  • Kinabalu Park

    Upon arrival in Malaysia’s first ever UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kinabalu National Park, you will notice a cooling change in the air temperature. Set at 1,500m above sea level, this 754sq kilometer park features one of the Tallest Mountains in all of South East Asia as its center piece - Mount Kinabalu. Rising at 4,095.2m with cloud-hugging peaks that shade the valleys below, the majestic mountain is certainly a sight to behold from Kinabalu National Park. Enjoy the refreshing and cooling air as you proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden, to learn more about the Kinabalu Park’s biological treasure trove. From carnivorous Pitcher Plants to rare Orchid species, the garden showcases a broad collection of endemic plant species found in Mount Kinabalu’s unique climatic zones. Proceed for lunch at the restaurant in Kinabalu Park.

    Kundasang is a town in the district of Ranau in Sabah, where we will drive by. Spot the famous cabbage roundabout that is a landmark for the vegetable market and enjoy the scenery of the rolling hills along the bank of Kundasang Valley while we drive to Poring.

  • Poring Hot Spring and Nature Reserve

    Take a soothing sulphur bath in the open air tubs, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. Your day wraps up with The Canopy Treetop Walk where you will witness the grandeur of a hundred million year old rainforest, from a 105m length walkway suspended 30 meters above ground. A 20 minutes hike is needed to reach the Canopy Walkway.

Good tour (great tour guide Diana)

Generally a good tour with much to see but it would be better without the rain (even in the rain forest). The tour guide Diana) was fantastic …. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The driver was punctual and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.

A brilliant day with Rafflesia flowers

Booked this tour from the UK, a very straightforward process. We were picked up from our hotel at 7.15 am and then drove towards Mount Kinabalu. Stops during the day were all enjoyable and Diana our guide and Jack our driver were friendly. We were lucky enough to see some Rafflesia flowers too so all in all a great day. Only downside was traffic in and out of Kota Kinabalu.

Have already climb the Kinabalu mountain in 2015. But I had no idea at that time how How much the Kinabalu is full of entertaining (and sad) stories. Special one to William our guide. So kind with my mom, so helpful with my friend and very insightful. And we saw the Raflesia flower. 3 to 4 years of growing up. Just to see it opening for 2 to 3 days! Can you believe it!.. Kinabalu and offspring tour must be done. Just an advice

A day of learning and physical challenges

My family of four really enjoyed our day trip with Amazing Borneo. Everything from the initial enquiry, booking and pre trip arrangement was very smooth (Ms Joey) and they were very prompt and communicative. The guide Mr Tan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the flora , fauna and history of the places we went. Highly recommend this trip that combines some excitement ( canopy walk) with a good learning experience.
