Overview

A 2.5 hour kayak tour on the lagoon in front of Sólheimajökull Glacier. A whole new perspective on the ever changing glacial landscape.

Meeting points

Please be at location 30 minutes before departure. Meet us at our base at Sólheimajökull Parking Lot. Driving time from Reykjavík is 2.5 hours. Drive along Road 1 on the South Coast, then take a left turn on Road 221. After ca. 5 minute drive, you will reach the starting point.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Glide along the smooth surface of Sólheimajökull’s Glacier Lagoon during this easy kayaking tour. Bask in the beautiful nature around you as your expert guide leads you around this famous outlet glacier.

Great activity! It really worth it. Pawel, our guide, was really nice and helpful with all his explanations. He even took some pictures for us (we forgot out camera), and send them afterwards by e-mail! (thanks Pawel). Wonderful experience.

Kayaking with Fernanda on the glacier lake was unforgettable! Her knowledge, passion, and care (she took like 100 picture on a request of one of the guest) made the breathtaking scenery even more incredible. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a unique adventure!
