Spend a day exploring the amazing underwater life of Borneo in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park here in Kota Kinabalu.

Meeting points

At 08:45 on the day of your activity please meet us at the British Red Telephone Boxes on the left-hand side of Jesselton Point Jetty as you enter it. Our boats leave at 09:00 so please do not be late. If you have any issue calls us on +60178118149 (lines open from 08:00 till 20:00). Thanks, Borneo Dream Team

Itinerary

On the day of your activity, you will receive a verbal introduction/briefing from your RAID Instructor. Your maximum group size will be 4 to 1 Instructor. This will be followed by kitting up and shallow water skills, immediately followed by a reef scuba dive. After lunch provided by us, you will take part in a proper boat dive with your Instructor. You will return to Jesselton Point Jetty at around 16:00 the same day.

Absolutely amazing

We had an amazing time, this was by far the best thing we did in KK! I hadn’t scuba dived in 14 years, and it was my partner’s first time and he was quite nervous. Basir and Yadi made us feel so comfortable as we prepared for the dive and progressed slowly to 12 meters. We saw a sea turtle, barracuda, and tons of beautiful life on the reef. I highly recommend, and if it’s your first time trying SCUBA, these are great people to learn from!

We had such a great time diving! Our dive guide Alex was very good at teaching us the basic skills, and he made sure we all felt safe during our dives. Very professional! The skipper Yadi was also very kind and he took a lot of photos that we got afterwards. We saw many fish and corals, and we also spotted a proboscis monkey on our way back to Kota Kinabalu. We would definitely recommend this if you are interested in diving!

We had a wonderful day with Bas taking our kids (ages 10 & 12) on their first ever scuba experience. They specifically asked for him after a previous day out snorkelling with him as lead. He made them feel really at ease. Can't thank him enough for giving them a perfect start to diving!!!
