Vehicle: 7seats Van or 5 seats Mid-Size Car  Driver: English-speaking driver,Pickup/Dropoff at your hotel. Jinshanling Wall is one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall which may shows its charms to the hiking fans at all times. With a distance about 160 kilometers  northeast of city. It is the most representative part of the Chinese brick-made dragon.Here,the landscape is drier and starker,but arguably more powerful,and it leaves you feeling that you're hiking through genuinely remote territory.

    This is a private tour for you,No other visitor join us.The driver will pick you up at your hotel (Driver will hold a sign with your name,waiting for you in hotel lobby) and drive you to Jinshanling Great Wall directly,the driver drop you off at parking lot.You take shuttle bus to Great Wall main entrance from parking lot,it need few minutes drive by Shuttle bus.The driver wait you in the parking-lot during you hike on the wall,and bring you back to the city when you come back to parking lot by shuttlebus.If you like to hike to east gate from main gate,driver will pick you up at east gate.

Today we travelled to the Wall at Jinshanling, our driver Zhou went above and beyond. Great conversation - great driving- great help when we got to Jinshanling with tickets etc . Patiently waited for us to return . Due to high traffic congestion on the way back to Beijing - he knew all the short cuts/ alternative routes to take - so we got to see more of Beijing. The Great Wall itself at Jinshanling is quite spectacular with wonderful views - Zhou got the map for us and marked out a route - that made things easier too. Don’t queue for the cable car - the walk up is an easy one.

Miles was punctual, very friendly, and spoke great English. He very patiently waited for us after we saw the wall at sunset and was very communicative all along.

This is a fantastic section of the great wall. Beautiful landscape and views of the wall, but also you get the chance to walk on unrestored parts. Joe, our driver, was super helpful, efficient and very friendly. I got a message from him the day before confirming the pick-up time. We left the hotel at the agreed time. He liaised with the people from the visitor/ticket centre on possible walks, duration, etc. On the way back, he was happy to provide restaurant recommendations and interesting places to visit in Beijing.
