Overview

You reach the highest concentration of palm trees that the Cocora Valley has on horseback through the viewpoints and there you will take a mini walking tour until you reach the viewpoint that will let you see the highest mountains and different species of colorful trees such as the seven leathers , to appreciate a view of approximately 190 degrees. All the rides that take place in the Cocora Valley are carried out with expert guides who guarantee the proper functioning of the ride during the tour.

Itinerary

This fascinating horseback riding tour begins in the charming town of Salento, Quindío, starting from the Cocoratours facility (you can check the location below). The approximate duration of the tour is 2 hours and 30 minutes, exploring on horseback the impressive natural landscapes of the municipality, traversing various forests and panoramic areas with natural viewpoints. The remaining time is enjoyed at the picturesque Finca de Café Las Acacias, where the walking tour includes experiences in all coffee processes, from harvesting to harvesting. At the end of the tour, you will be presented with a delicious cup of coffee to culminate your experience on the estate. The itinerary continues along the lower Boquerón or Navarco River, offering spectacular views of the natural forests of the area. In addition, you will cross the river, giving you a complete experience that combines coffee tour, horseback riding and adventure

Really Amazing Experience!!

This was actually an easy and fantastic experience! I would absolutely do this again and I would 100% recommend to friends. The ride was so cool and so much fun. The guide was honestly fantastic... 10/10! We sometimes shy away from taking too many photos, because it seems obnoxious, but our guide really was a photographer extraordinaire out there! He knew all these crazy scenic spots and volunteered to take tons of beautiful photos. He actually showed us all these cool iPhone tricks to get better and unique photos. It felt like a wedding shoot! Exceptional service and the horseback riding itself was really a memorable experience. The horses were so kind and we had no safety issues at all. Book these guys with confidence for sure!

Really appreciated our Spanish-only speaking guide. He was able to communicate nicely with me as to proper riding techniques, took amazing pictures for us and paced our trip perfectly for our abilities. A great experience! The river stop was so amazing and refreshing!

What a great experience! We stopped at the first location entering the valley and spoke with Carlos, who gave us all the information we needed, explained what was available to us and the cost applicable to each of the options on offer. The horses appeared well looked after and the equipment clean and in good order. We recommend the experience and wish to make special mention of Carlos, our guide, who was exceptional in his knowledge and obvious love of his job.

The views were insane and I’ve never seen such stunning landscapes! The jeep ride to the valley was an experience on its own as well! Our tour guide Daniel was also very kind enough to take lots of pictures of us! Great experience! 10/10 would recommend!
