Boulder City (Pass By)

Drive through the historic Boulder City as you make your way to the Hoover Dam. Your guide will explain the area and history of this charming city.
Lake Mead National Recreation Area (Pass By)

Lake Mead, the country’s largest reservoir, can be seen as you arrive at the historical Hoover Dam. Your guide will explain the surrounding area and Lake Mead itself.

Check in at the Hoover Dam Lodge before joining your river guide for the rafting portion of the tour. Opportunity for a quick restroom break and view historic displays on the Hoover Dam at this stop.

Colorado River

It’s on to the most unique element of the tour—a 90-minute float on the Colorado River for an up-close look at the dam. See the Hoover Dam itself and the bypass bridge as you travel down the river. See concrete slabs, steps and rails used to build the Dam. A snack is provided by Black Canyon while on the raft.

Hoover Dam

Head to the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam after your raft portion of the tour. See the Dam from above and stop off at the small gift shop. After stopping off on the Arizona side, make your way down to the Nevada side for the next portion of the tour. Your guide will walk you along the Dam and narrate the area, history and some facts. Spend some free time at the Visitor Center afterwards before returning to Las Vegas.

*Should access to the Hoover Dam Generator Room be restricted by the Bureau of Reclamation, the tour will include stops at the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and the Boulder City Hoover Dam Museum.
Guests must be able to get in and out of the boat without assistance.
Guests who are expecting must skip the boat tour, which will limit the tour experience.

Great Experience, Highly Recommended!

Our tour guide, Chris was very friendly, helpful, caring and knowledgeable about Hoover Dam history and other places in Las Vegas. Not only that, he is good in photography too. Pink Jeep has a cooler inside loaded with bottles of water unlimited, clean and comfortable seats. If you want a hassle free tour, I highly recommend Pink Jeep Tours.

Rafting on the River

I got an opportunity to go on the newest Pink Jeep tour that just opened this month for the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam Top to bottom tour. It includes a trip to the top of the dam and also a 90min boat ride on the Colorado River. I was happy I was able to go with friends on this trip and experience something new. It was alot of fun and it was so beautiful to experience being on the emerald blue water. I definitely would want to do this again soon . Highly recommended for Las Vegas Fall and Spring Activities.

I truly cannot say enough about this tour company & destination! It is a Vegas MUST when visiting. I’ve been to the Hoover Dam before many times but not like this. Pink Jeep picked us up and we rode out in a very comfortable tour trekker vehicle enclosed with A/C and large seats & windows. Our guide was John and he was amazing! He talked to us about all sorts of interesting facts, landscape & history along the way. We stopped in the charming town of Boulder City to see the Hoover Dam Museum (which was awesome!) Had a restroom break, water & snacks. Then made our way to the Hoover Dam Lodge. Inside was so cool! Gift shop, restrooms, restaurants, etc. Then we made our way to the Dam. The driving views alone were incredible! We took a windy road down to the bottom of the Dam to meet our Hoover Dam River Adventures guide & float. Sarah was our guide for the day and she was safety first & super sweet! We received a goodie bag filled with water, apple & cookies. We stayed hydrated on tour with plenty of extra water. Sarah showed us the entire Hoover Dam and Colorado River from the bottom and it was extraordinary!! There were caves, waterfalls, palm trees, plants, different birds, colorful alge and a variety of fish. The water was colored this beautiful blue/green and you could see through it. The water temp was a cool 60 degrees (perfectly chilled) and the weather was a high 80 day but down below a little warmer. When the wind hit, it felt great and every now and then you could feel a light spritz of the water as you traveled through the canal. Incredible Mountain Views, history & overall one absolutely amazing tour! I highly recommend seeing the Hoover Dam from Top to Bottom! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
