Overview

PROGRAM : We pick you up at your hotel lobby in Hoi An ( in the morning at 8:30 a.m or 2:00 p.m in the afternoon). You will be taken to a quiet herb village named after the sweetly scented vegetables grown there. Get a feeling for small farm life meet the local family Then do some farming activities like cultivating, watering, growing and carrying seaweed. After that you ride on a water buffalo Continue to Cam Thanh village. During the Vietnam War, the village acted as a shelter for locals and soliders hiding. Then, Taking a rest at a local family, Then row on a basket boat to visit water coconut Jungle, After that we go to Thanh Ha pottery village to learn and practice how to make tea cup or vase.. by using clay. then you can write down your name on product which you have made to be funny.This tour is good for some customers who want to escape from noise and hassel of city centre. Finish and come back to your hotel and have a deeper understanding about rural life of Hoi an people

  • Bay Mau Coconut Forest

    Nipa Palm Coconut Forest where we will test the seafarer in you as you will take a ride in a bamboo basket boat giving you a chance to fish for crabs. You will learn how locals throw out the big fishing nets and you will get to try this for yourself. Your local guides will demonstrate their amazing skills at making watches, fish, and grasshoppers from coconut leaves which they will then give to you as souvenirs. After our nautical adventures, we will partake in a wonderful meal cooked by a local family.

  • Tra Que Vegetable Village

    ra Que Vegetable village where we will meet a local family to see how they live. Enjoy drinks made by them whilst they share stories about their lives in the village. After our refreshment, they will demonstrate each task involved in the growing of vegetables. Then it is your turn to: work the soil, fertilise with seaweed, including stomping in the seaweed sow the plants, and water them with two watering cans in the traditional way.

    Thanh Ha Pottery Village, where our guide will take you around the village to see local daily life, stopping at one of the typical family businesses to learn how to make pottery and get some souvenirs to take home.

We wanted to do the buffalo riding and coconut boat rowing. Andy was able to work around specific requests and tailor the trip to our needs. We had high expectations and Andy exceeded them all. The buffalo riding was a great opportunity to spend time with and through Andy's knowledge get to know a lot about these awesome creatures. A hands-on approach was adopted with safety key priority. We were able to lead and ride the buffalo. The location and early morning sunlight made for great photos. Andy organised great guides for the coconut boat experience. They were knowledgeable friendly and keen to ensure that our tour met all of our wishes. We were taken through the water coconut groves, did some crab fishing, did some boat spinning and had plenty of photo opportunities. Life jackets, sunbrellas and hats were provided. Our boys are still talking about the water buffalo which was clearly their highlight of our time in Vietnam.

We had one last day in Vietnam but had no plans and wanted to try see more of the country so Andy suggested this tour. So glad we got to do this. Getting to get in and get our hands dirty with pottery making, vegetable farming, lantern making riding a buffalo and getting on a coconut basket boat ride was a fantastic way to finish our first ever trip to Vietnam. Lasting memories were made and our kids had a blast. Thanks again for a remarkable tour of the beautiful country Vietnam
