Overview

Hippo Submarine, is a brand new semi-submarine boat with an amazing underwater air-conditioned cabin. Large windows allow passengers to explore the underwater life of Lindos coasts while remaining dry! During this trip you will hear important facts about the ancient city of Lindos as well as the marine life of our seas! Saving the best for last; You will get to watch as we feed the fish and you will have a great swim in one of the most popular beaches on the island - Navarone's Bay

Meeting points

We greet our guests at the pier of Pallas Beach in Lindos, right outside the Yellow Hippo Submarine. From the nearby free parking lots or the central square, it is an easy walk to the beach and then you only need to walk to its end at your right hand-side

  • Lindos Beach (Pass By)

    Explore the undersea world of Lindos on the Hippo, a brand new semi-submarine with a comfortable, air-conditioned, underwater cabin.

  • Acropolis of Lindos (Pass By)

    Admire the majestic Acropolis of Lindos and hear all the important information surrounding this everlasting structure.

  • Bay of Navarone

    Experience unique, unforgettable adventures in Lindos, St Paul’s, and Navarone Canons Bay. The tour lasts 2 hours, including a 10-minute stop below the Acropolis of Lindos, in order to feed fish, and a 30-minute stop giving our passengers the chance to marvel the crystal-clear, turquoise waters of Navarone Canons bay, where you could swim, try out snorkeling and take beautiful photos of the seabed and underwater life. As our spacious semi-sub meanders through beautiful fish and huge rocks, you’ll realize how remarkable life below the sea surface is enjoying the view from our wide portholes. Also, from the upper deck , you will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking Lindos Rock that rises 116 meters above the sea surface, on top of which stands the striking Acropolis of Lindos.

All aboard the Yellow Submarine!

We went on the Yellow Submarine round to Navarone Bay for my birthday. I wasn’t sure as I’m slightly claustrophobic, but I need not have worried. The underwater viewing room was really nice and spacious with seats and plenty of room to walk about. We had a free drink included in the price, which we didn’t expect. When we got to Navarone Bay, everyone jumped into the sea! It was a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my family really enjoyed this trip, great views and an overall lovely experience. The swim stop was fantastic such beautiful warm clear water. The 3 hour trip was well timed and planned. The two staff members were great, really friendly and happy to help! We really enjoyed the last tour of the season. Thank you!

Highlight of our trip!

We had a fantastic time on this trip! My son had a blast! He enjoyed swimming in Navarone Bay, feeding the fish and watching the sea life from the lower deck of the boat. It was a lot fun packed into the 2 hours journey. Most importantly, both crew members onboard were great guys - providing good information during the trip. They were friendly, kind with passengers and had a great sense of humour! We will certainly book this trip again when we are back. Thank you so much!
