Stirling (Pass By)
As you travel toward your first distillery you will pass Stirling the “Gateway to the Scottish Highlands”.
The mighty Stirling Castle sits proudly keeping watch over the city.
Deanston Distillery & Visitor Centre
Deanston Distillery is on the banks of the River Teith and started life back in 1785 as a cotton mill until 1966 where it transformed into today’s distillery.
The only distillery in Scotland to be self-sufficient in electricity with its power coming from the River Teith.

After we’ve shown you round, you’ll get the chance to taste 2 delicious single malts.

They nurse the spirit through the stills to create the complex, fruity, award-winning spirit of which they are so rightly proud.

What a special day I just wish it was longer. Glengoyne distillery was our favorite and Luss is so beautiful. The Mercedez limo van was great. Best of all our guide Gerry was a really great guy and we really enjoyed spending time with him
