My parents and I were on a quick trip to Frankfurt and wanted a day trip to Heidelberg. We have visited that city before but I wanted to dig a little deeper. To save time/energy, I decided to research for a local guide and found Henry. He was very accommodating and was able to communicate very efficiently thru WhatsApp. Being in a foreign environment, there’s always an element of chaos and stress, but Henry eased my mind even before meeting him by being super understanding. Tour itself was informative and exciting. We booked the 2 hour tour and were craving for more. You can tell he was passionate about the history and also respectful for our inquires about Heidelberg (even the most random things like the birds in the area) made great food recommendations. We had local German food at a place he recommended and it was fantastic! Overall, it felt like strolling with an old friend. (Oh! And he’s a great photographer!) Exploring a city with a guide was a first experience for my parents and Henry exceeded their expectations as well. I especially appreciated his demeanor towards my parents as English/German is not their first language. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, even if you have visited the city before. Thank you Henry!
