Lively, lovely, Nuanced Walk with Sarah

Our September Heidelberg walking tour with Sarah was a pleasure! Her nuanced knowledge of history and her so enthusiastic and yet thoughtful teacher ways made us appreciate the already lovely sites even more. A great guide. An apt photographer also. Thank you, Sarah! We woukd have loved to get inside the Catholic churches, tho we understand our 4:30 pm walk made that near impossible. Heidelberg is lovely, no wonder our national hero Jose Rizal wrote the poem “Las Flores Del Heidelberg” over a century ago.

This was a very knowledgable tour of history. We went through the dark ages up to after s the second war. I found it interesting how big part religious and war between katholic and protestant had on Heidelberg.
