Haedong Yonggungsa
You can experience Buddhist culture by touring traditional Korean temples, and have an event where you can pray with your wishes written on leaves.
It was founded in 1376 (2nd year of King Uās reign) during the Goryeo Dynasty by Hyegeun, the royal preceptor of King Gongmin. It was later destroyed by the Japanese invasions of Korea and rebuilt in the early 1930s. In 1974, Jeongam took office and prayed for the restoration of the temple as Avalokitesvara. He said he saw Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva dressed in white ascending to heaven on a dragon in a dream, so the name of the temple was changed to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
