Overview

Whether you are a foodie, a beginner chef or an experienced one, wine expert or just like sipping on good wine and eating great food, this is the perfect experience! Learn your way around an Italian kitchen during this farm-to-table experience, including a terraced gardens visit and cooking class, topped off with a 4-course meal. Harvest fresh ingredients from the vegetable garden and take your cue from an expert chef as you create Italian local dishes such as bruschetta, pasta, and stuffed zucchini flowers. Enjoy the intimate and friendly atmosphere of a small-group cooking class, taste typical local products and savor the dishes you’ve prepared complemented by local wine.

"Amalfi Heaven Gardens", right up the stairs in front of G.A.S. Bar, just a kilometer far from the center of Amalfi and easily reachable on foot, by bus or by car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available). Car parking: GAS BAR Parking. Do not leave the car parked on the road.

Itinerary

Our experience begins with a warm welcome from our team who will guide you throughout this awesome class, describing what we will do in the following few hours. We will start with a tour of our typical terraced gardens, an ancient local cultivation method that represent a resource of sustainability and environmental conservation on the Amalfi Coast. Here we will stroll by and linger at the lemon grove, the olive grove and the vineyard, where you will be provided with significant information on the importance of these groves in the Mediterranean diet and how our worldwide famous Limoncello, olive oil and wine are produced. We will continue our visit to the vegetable garden, and after wearing gloves and collecting wicker baskets, we will proceed with the picking of the freshest seasonal veggies and fragrant herbs that we will later use for the preparation of the delicacies during the class. Once we have put on our kitchen aprons we will be ready to get down to business and learn the secrets of preparing exquisite traditional dishes, which we will then go on to enjoy all together during a wonderful meal accompanied by local wine, limoncello and real Neapolitan espresso.

Delightful experience!

My friend and I booked a late afternoon cooking class here and loved every minute of it. In a beautiful setting on a hillside with amazing views, you get to tour the organic garden, then prepare, in a group a number of delicious dishes. The ingredients were farm fresh, picked that morning and the dishes included a number of regional favorites. The staff was fun and knowledgeable and we all ended up staying beyond the appointed ending to continue to enjoy our food and some delicious local wine. You will not need dinner after a visit here.

Heavenly Cooking Class in Amalfi!

This experience was by far one of the best experiences of my entire Italy vacation! Wonderful views from the top of the Amalfi Coast while cooking with fellow travelers and listening to opera! A most memorable and enjoyable event. I learned so much and have been cooking the recipes and sharing them with friends and family at home ever since. Can't thank Amalfi Heaven Gardens enough!! Best Experience on the Amalfi Coast!

I looked at several cooking classes along the Amalfi Coast, and I am SO happy I chose this one! It was hands-down the best organized activity we did while on our weeklong trip. The food was outstanding - I will never eat gnocchi in the US again, knowing what it is supposed to actually taste like. And the wine was SO GOOD!! The views from the gardens and cooking areas just can't be beat. It was like something out of a dream! I couldn't believe it was real life. And then the best part - our guides and chef! I have no doubt that they are what made this activity stand out from the rest of the amazing stuff we did. Francesco, Andreas, and Danielle were the dream team - they taught us so much and had us cackling throughout the whole day! They worked great together with Francesco's energy and friendliness and Andreas's attempts at not smiling and pretending to be annoyed at all the antics. But in the end, my husband got hugs from both haha!! I can't wait to attempt to recreate these recipes myself, but I know they won't compare to the incredible food and experience we had at the Amalfi Heaven Gardens.

Our cooking class with Rebecca and Sweet Rosa was incredible. Our initial booking got canceled because of severe rains but we were easily switched to another day. Figuring out parking at GAS Bar was a little tricky (you need to find the guy to let you into the locked parking lot and there is a charge). Waiting for the van at GAS was worth it - they had the best espressos and cappuccinos! The way the class is run is smart - everyone is making something different but we got to share it all. We were stuffed after the appetizers and we got brought back to the kitchen to make more! We felt the value for the experience was worth it - this was the highlight of our trip!
