Overview

Welcome to our family! We are Rocco and Carla and together with our little helper Alexandro and Mamma Annamaria we are waiting for you for a unique experience. The passion for good food and the reciprocal experiences in the restaurant world have given life to our project: to combine gastronomic passion, family traditions and genuine food cooked with the products of our land. Already Papa Beniamino (BÈ), he delighted his guests from all over the world in the 60s, offering them culinary experiences. Since 2019 we have dedicated ourselves full time to your idea of ​​​​hospitality "like in a family". There is nothing that makes us more proud to pass on our recipes, traditions and our love for food, keeping its memory intact.

Meeting points

I'll wait for you in P.zza Moressa in front of "La Moressa Italian Bistro" restaurant in Praiano, from there we will walk together along the pedestrian street for a few minutes in the direction of the church of S. Tommaso.

Itinerary

The meeting place is located a few steps from the main beach (La Praia), the NaturArte artistic route and the very famous Praiano watchtower. Once they arrive home, our guests will sit down to drink a glass of wine made by us and taste a small homemade aperitif, after breaking the ice they will get to work. They will prepare the starter, two types of pasta and sauce (depending on the preparation) and the dessert, using products from our garden or from our fishing moments, following our family's recipes. They will sit at the table enjoying all their work and finishing with the dessert and the handcrafted digestive or digestives. They will leave us with the awareness of having lived a unique experience and having enriched their culinary experience. The menu and recipes vary based on seasonality and the harvest in the garden and the daily catch. Below are some menu examples.

Simply Lovely Cooking Class in a Quiet Town on the Amalfi Coast

Rocco and Carla made the experience incredible, from their homemade wine and delicious appetizers to the fantastic pasta and dessert cooking class from Carla. We learned so much and enjoyed talking about the local culture and how it is to live on the Amalfi Coast. They give you options on what you want to cook for pastas and sauces. It is vegetarian friendly.

Carla and Rocco put on an incredible class and they are incredibly welcoming into their home, really enjoyed being able to see exactly how the locals cook. Also appreciate them passing on the recipes we used during the class to take home with us!

Best Cooking Experience in Amalfi Coast

Rocco & Carla were gracious hosts to their home. They showed us how to make several different types of pasta and let us make our own. They explained their family history and business in depth which we appreciated. The view was amazing and their home easy to get to. We didn't take many pictures because we were having such a great time. We highly recommend this cooking experience. You won't be disappointed.

What a great experience! My friend and I had so much fun during our time with Carla and Rocco as well as the other families/couples that were there. We learned so much about the culture and how to prepare different types of pasta/desserts. Would highly recommend this experience during your time in Italy!
