Our first stop after 25 minutes of driving will be the unique Lake of Vouliagmeni. It is one of the most impressive natural attractions of Athens, but also of the world and has been ranked among the top 10 attractions of Greece according to Forbes. Here we will enjoy our traditional Greek coffee. Until we get there we will drive along the idyllic coastal road, full of palm trees and beautiful beaches. Limni is the hidden jewel of the Athenian Riviera. It is a Natura 2000 site and the Ministry of Culture has declared it as a place of Special Natural Beauty. Since ancient times, it has been known for its healing properties and is the only healing lake in Attica. You will be in front of a rare geological phenomenon that gives peace away from the noisy Athena. We will talk to you about the myths from the time of the second world war and the contemporary studies about its unique biodiversity.

Enjoy the superb route of Laimos Vouliagmenis where we will pass in front of the ancient temple of Apollo Zostiras and we will find ourselves at the cape where you will have the opportunity for enchanting panoramic photos. Ask your guide to show you the fantastic church built by the children of the orphanage, decorated with shells from the area.

We leave behind us the beautiful Vouliagmeni and drive for 25 minutes on the idyllic coastal road to the Temple of Sounios. A superb, calm route with dozens of small harbors and fantastic spots for photography. We will arrive at the unique Temple of Poseidon. A temple placed on top of the hill with a 360 degree view towards the Aegean. A magical experience that will be truly unforgettable. If time permits, we will stop at the ruined village with the white church overlooking the Temple of Poseidon for unique photos.

Poseidon Temple via sidecar motorcycle MUST DO at Sunset

We loved the way Dimitri (the young driver) rode the motorcycle. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the ride. We had the Best Time Ever. There is nothing bad I could say about this trip. Highly recommended!!

Twelve days in Greece and this was the best! My granddaughter and I (ages 17 and 78) loved the experience of riding in the sidecar, the trip along the stunning coast, and seeing the incredibly beautiful temple of Poseidon. While perhaps not for the faint of heart, you will have the experience of a lifetime. Demetrius, our driver, was as handsome as he was charming and spoke excellent English. When we look back on our trip in future years, this is the memory we will remember best.

I’ve never had so many smiles on an excursion! This was a blast! I was a little nervous ahead of time due to my lack of experience on motorcycles, but I had no need to worry. We got to see many sights in the city and both enjoyed this experience. Our guide was happy to modify the tour to avoid duplicating sites we had already visited on other tours. The best way to spend a half day in Athens!

I booked this thinking that we would have a lovely morning exploring the seaside and the Temple of Poseidon. Due to high winds coming of the sea our guide re-routed and we had a personal and up-close tour of the city of Athens. We were there with a larger group and this was our free day of exploration away by ourselves. We say twice as much with our guide than we did with our group. He was very open to stopping for however long and taking us to wherever we wanted in the city. Our stops included the highest hill in Athens with a quaint little coffee shop at the top, a active fish market, two ancient markets, a drive around the Acropolis (we didn't stop because we had already stopped to see that earlier on our trip). The new Olympic stadium, the Greek cultural center and Library of Athens (the cafe there is amazing), and Palaka market. Worth every penny!

Excellent half day to get out of the city center and discover the riviera. The side car are beautiful, confortable . Dimitris and his colleague where super good drivers and really nice . We were 2 couples, each one on a side car and enjoyed very much the tour . We would really recommend it for any group between 2 to 10 people ( they have enough side cars and drivers) Forgot to mention a stop by one of the best slouvaki . Bravo !!
