Itinerary

First-hand experience in Thai culture and cooking that you cannot miss. Cooking in a unique traditionally built teak house and join the local way of living at Lanta Thai Cookery School, situated in the heart of a lush rubber plantation. We grow their own vegetables and herbs here in our garden. Your teachers Aon and Chien have many years cooking and chef experience from restaurants and are widely renowned for their good cooking. As well, they get very good reviews for teaching Thai cooking. Also, they have very good knowledge of spices, herbs, and other plants from the garden.   • Children aged between 7-11 years and can choose only 2 dishes.
  • The group chooses 4 out of 10 dishes together, individually you can choose type of meat etc.as well as spice level.
  • The person who comes with but doesn't want to cook pay an extra 500 Baht per person. Includes share of food and transportation.
  • There are at least 2 people required to start the cooking class. The class size is limited to maximal 12 persons.

Awesome foodie experience

Spent half a day in the Lanta Thai cookery school with our lovely teacher San. We had the opportunity to cook 4 different dishes that we selected as a group during our welcome drink. Then it was straight to ingredients and prepping before we cooked and ate eat dish in turn. We were given lots of tips and tricks to use as well as a booklet with all of the recipes in to take home. It was a really enjoyable experience. We were given the choice of cooking chicken, prawns or veggie so there’s choice for all dietary preferences. Make sure you go there hungry! They will box leftovers up for you, but be warned, there is a lot of (amazing!) food :)
