Overview

This is a kayaking tour with a difference. This trip takes you from Lanta to the beautiful islands. The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel at 8 - 9 am. You will be transferred to Tungyeepeng pier (on Lantaā€™s northeast coast) where we board the longtail boat and head to Ko Aung. Enjoy floating by kayak into the Mangrove Forest of Thungyeepheng. This is a beautiful spot for exploration, monkey feeding, unique lizard and colourful bird watching.Ā  We then continue to Aung Island to explore Koh Talabeng Sea Cave by kayaking, after which, we end our exploration at Bu Bu Island, to enjoy a delicious Thai style lunch and some relaxation on the beautiful beach at Ko Bu Bu.

The trip was excellent, actually better than described as time in mangrove was only limited to feeding monkeys. Most of the time was spent on islands, about 60 to 90 minutes in kayaks.

The 3 island tour and canoeing experience was amazing. We had great company with other tourist, the guide and staff were amazing. Great experience.

I and my two teenaged boys went on this day trip. our guide was Bao and he's amazing. We had a fun time in the long-tailed boat (for us it's better than a speed boat b/c we got sick from speedboat the day prior). We had fun kayaking, relaxing on the beach after lunch and visit some islands. The key one was to feed the monkey that came up to our boat. That was amazing.

Friendly staff and everything went as planned. Monkeys were treated in a respectful manner. Kayaking part could be a bit longer, now it was only about one hour.

This was the best day we had in Thailand. The trip was well structured. Kayaking was fun and it felt awesome to be so close to the rocks. The fruit snack afterwards was refreshing. We had a tasty lunch on a tiny, most beautiful island with only a handful of tourists around. On our way back we got to feed monkeys which was the cherry on the cake. Things to keep in mind: The long boat is super loud. Bring noise cancelling headphones, especially when with kids. Also obviously, protect from the sun or you will get sunburns/ heatstrokes. Also wear swimwear because we got very wet in the kayaks. Things to improve: The guideā€™s English was bad and it was hard to communicate. They werenā€™t really guides, rather drivers. Also, I would have liked to see more of the mangroves and the starting place in general.
