Ao Tha Lane

It is the most amazing experience kayaking past the high limestone cliffs and mangrove forest. You are able to see “Monkey” too. This Kayak experience and stunning scenery. Ao Thalane is the most beautiful limestone peaks were those facing open river and sea, while those within the canyon where full of vegetation, unique nature creation. My tour guide is professional and easy to communicate. Definitely, you will have a good time for morning either you can do at afternoon kayaking round the cliff edges and in the mangroves. Good for all ages and you are provided with life jackets for those that want or can’t swim. The most beautiful limestone peaks were those facing open river and sea, while those within the canyon were full of vegetation, weird looking but still, unique nature creation. Kayaking provided good work-out to fill the lungs with fresh air in the forest. Looking up from the kayak, the scale of those limestone peaks could be awed upon better

Brilliant trip with a fantastic guide in small group

Our guide picked us up promptly from our hotel. You could immediately tell he was a fun and happy guy, I knew it was going to be a good trip. We were in a small group of just 9 people and we took a route that kept us away from most of the other kayak groups. Our guide Oou was fantastic. He told us lots of information about the environment and the animals. He brought a little picnic with locally made cakes and pineapple from his Uncle's garden! We were not rushed, it was a lovely relaxed kayak trip. We saw monkeys, crabs, sand skippers (walking fish), star fish, a sea eagle and lots of other wildlife.

The kayak tour was well organised. Immediately after booking, I received a message with the pick-up time and was picked up around that time. The tour guide knew what he was talking about and gave clear explanations. He made it a fun trip with a good atmosphere. Highly recommended!

One of the most memorable experiences of the trip was seeing the baby monkeys jumping from the trees into the water & playing. Super cute! Another monkey looked at us from above and brought its eyebrows up & down while it was checking us out. It was pretty funny. Loved kayaking through the mangroves!

Everyone must do this when they come to krabi. The scenery was breath taking and a peace like no other. Jo our instructor was the best and so knowledgeable of the area. He made us coffee and chopped at coconuts for us to drink.

We loved our trip with Jade, we had a beautiful tour with several stops where we were provided with drinks and fruit. We also got some time to swim, chill and take some pictures. Jade was really friendly and also gave us some nice stories and fun facts. You could tell he enjoyed giving us the tour! He exactly knew the times of the tide so while we saw other tours passing us, he explained that by waiting a little bit we would be able to enter the mangrove a few 100 meters further. We really wouldn’t have want to miss this trip, and we would really recommend booking this specific kayak tour.
