Ao Tha Lane

Explore the Krabi Province's beautiful landscapes, without damaging the environment. Learn how to use your kayak at the start of your day, with an introductory training session. Slowly cruise through the different coastal zones, and pass through mangrove forests, canyons, caves and lagoons. Choose between a morning tour or an evening tour. Observe wildlife in its natural habitat, and keep an eye out for native birds and monkeys. Travel to the Bok Korani National Park and Ao Thalane, one of the most beautiful bays in Thailand. Discover the diverse ecosystem that has developed in this environment, without the crowds of tourists. • 08:00am Pick up from Krabi town , Ao Nang and Klong Muang. • 09:00am Arrive at the pier in Ao Thalane. • 09:30am Get instructions by the guide. Start paddling from the pier to mangrove forest area. • 12:00am Having lunch in thai food restaurant • 01:00pm Explore the canyons of Ao Thalane by kayaking. • 04:00pm Transfer back to your hotel.

It was an extraordinary experience to se the rocks and hills plus a few monkeys up close. Our guide was also very welcoming and super kind!

The landscape is beautiful and absolutely worth seeing. As with all tours, there is simply not enough time, but it was not a problem that we just took them. The guide was nice and the basics well explained. Definitely something for people without kayaking experience.

My partner and I booked this tour via Viator. It was listed as a full day tour with kayaking in the morning and kayaking again after lunch, however, we were offered swimming after lunch instead (which we weren't interested in). None the less, we had a great time during the morning kayak session (approximately 2 hours) exploring the mangroves and the caves. The food provided at lunch was very good. Our guide throughout the day (he said his name was Banana) was incredible and very informative about the mangroves. He made us laugh and did a great job at making our day fun. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I had so much fun! I was the only one in the group that was alone, but the guide was great at making me feel comfortable. He joined me on the kayak, mainly because I got stuck lol.
