Overview

Dario Vecchio, since 1989 carries out tourist trips and boat excursions in Gaeta It is not a simple boat ride like many others, it is a real immersion in our world, in our passions. We take you by sea to discover the beauties of the Gulf of Gaeta, between Gaeta and Sperlonga. An exceptional, wonderful tour. Accompanying you in this experience is not just a job, it's a lifestyle. Book your excursion, we will accompany you to discover the environmental wonders that surround us: from the cliffs overlooking the sea, to the beaches set in the rocks; we will tell you all the anecdotes, the history, and the peculiarities of the landscapes that we will encounter together.

Meeting points

Once in Medieval Gaeta, at Porto Santa Maria, you will find our boats ready to welcome you; you will see the umbrella and chairs to wait for check-in. In front of the boats there is Kasa Incanto (bar) and Mediterraneo (restaurant)

Itinerary

  • Castello Angioino

    Our guide will tell you about the life and history of the castle and its fortifications, we will admire the old defensive walls of the fortress of Gaeta Note: the duration consists of the journey to reach and visit the various attractions from above the boat, it will not be possible to get off

  • Grotta Del Turco

    Traveling along the stretch of sea of the protected marine oasis, we will admire the cliffs of Monte Orlando, or rocky walls overhanging the sea. Along the cliffs we will admire the Grotta del Turco and the Montagna Spaccata, breathtaking natural views Our guide will tell the myths and legends related to the cave and the genesis of the mountain Note: the duration consists of the journey to reach and visit the various attractions on the boat, it will not be possible to get off

  • Parco Regionale Riviera di Ulisse

    Travelers will be able to bathe both in the natural pool of the 40 oars "beach set in the rocks" and in the cliff of the Scissure. You can admire the whole coast from the sea with the different beaches and cliffs of Gaeta. Our boats (11 metres) all have awning for shade, comfortable seats, large sundecks, ladder to climb back up from the sea when you swim, floating noodles and life jackets and snorkelling kits. Once you arrive at the port you can rinse yourself with fresh water to remove the salt. The return is scheduled for 01.30 PM- 02:00 PM. Within the excursion there are 3 stops for swimming Note: the duration consists of the journey to reach and visit the various attractions on the boat, it will not be possible to get off.

  • Sperlonga

    Traveling along the entire coast of Gaeta, we will arrive in Sperlonga, precisely we will see the Cave of the Dolls, also called the Blue Grotto, where you can swim. Note: the duration consists of the journey to reach the location

BEST HOST WITH A BOAT ⚓️

We had an incredible 4-hour boat excursion from Gaeta to Sperlonga with Simone and her family. They welcomed us warmly on board, making us feel right at home. The journey was filled with beautiful stops where we enjoyed swimming in pristine waters. Simone's knowledge of the area and its history added a fascinating dimension to our trip. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it!

We had a great time on this excursion! We were in a group of 6 and it was perfect. It’s a family business. The daughter helps guide everyone and the brother and dad command the boat. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our sailing with Mario. Since we arrived at the meet point they guide us to a amazing time. Our focus was to see the El Grotto del Turco but he showed us much more and explained all that we had around and we can understand what we was seeing. All the views in our way was breathtaking! We really recommend this tour.

A wonder sea, coastal view and swim experience from sea loving family business

This was a most fantastic two days out on glorious sea. Where I could swim and enjoy watching a magnificent and picturesque coastline. I very rich and wonderful part of Lazio. Great family business, true sea living and loving family. Highly recommended. Dario has been on the sea for 30 years, you can see it is his life, he loves his job I highly recommended the 4 hour experience and if you’re not nervous sit up the front of the boat on the way back as the water splashes up and keeps you cool. So much fun. There’s undercover to protect from sun, yet bring a hat, and sun protection. Simone will take you out on two days which is really lovely and you’re back in time for lunch. Bookings are super easy with friendly professional service.
