Itinerary

Pyramids of Giza

● Pick up at 8 am from the hotel, then moving to Giza plateau to enjoy visiting the great pyramid of King Cheops, Chephren & Mycerinus. It is a great chance to get to know some of ancient Egyptians' secrets and beliefs about death and life after death inside the Great Pyramid of King Cheops. ● Then moving to visit the valley temple and Great Sphinx, notably, it will amaze you by its construction that mixes between a human head and a lion's body. ● Then we have a chance of 30 minutes of camel ride nearby thepyramids. ● After that, we’ll have a lunch break at a nice restaurant with a marvelous view over Sphinx.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

● Then moving to the Egyptian Museum which houses a huge number of ancient masterpieces, statues, and Royal mummy rooms (Extra Fees), in addition to the great room of King Tutankhamon that includes his treasures and the remarkable masterpiece of Golden Death Mask. It is a famous landmark in Cairo, as well as a house of some of the most magnificent ancient works of art.

A great visit to the pyramids

We enjoyed our trip from the Ritz Carlton to the Giza Pyramid complex with our guide, Hoda in December. The guide and van arrived on time at the hotel at 8am, and Hoda gave us a lot of information about Egypt, the pyramids, how they were built, helped us with tickets to enter the Great Pyramid. The van stayed on site the whole time, so I was able to rest my legs, while the younger members of my family walked around the pyramid complex. We finished out tour with some souvenier shopping with Hoda pointing out items that were actually made in Egypt, and we then all enjoyed a lunch of koshary at a local restaurant. After lunch our driver dropped us off at the hotel and we highly recommend Twitter Egypt Travel. We also used Twitter Egypt Travel's airport meet and greet service upon arrival to help us with immigration and customs, and also for a ride back to the airport at the end of our stay.

Our tour was amazing. Everything was timely and well planned and extremely. Our tour guide Gina was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the sites and all the history, and went above and beyond to personalize and make our tour special. Highly recommend!

Incredible Day in Cairo/Giza

This trip could not have been better. Gina was absolutely wonderful with just about everything, including taking about a million professional-like pictures at every stop, sharing her incredible knowledge of Egyptian history and additional trivia She even helped us haggle for the best prices! This will not be the last time we come to Cairo!

Excellent job teaching us about history of what we were going to see. She kept away the pushy salesman that are all around the pyramids and helped us negotiate prices for different souvenirs. Very knowledgeable, kind and works with an excellent driver who was equally as nice and welcoming. 10/10

It was great visiting the great pyramid. We booked Twitter Egypt travel. Mario was our guide and Paul was our driver. Both of them were great. Mario was very knowledgeable and took great photos! Paul was a skilled driver being able to navigate through the Cairo craziness. Wish we had more time there and overall it was a spectacular experience!
