Enjoy this award winning full-day Giants Causeway and Antrim Coast day tour and explore the world-famous Antrim Coast and UNESCO listed Giant's Causeway.
Our 5 star Giants Causeway tour including GOT filming locations departs every morning at 9am, our tour has 7 stops at different locations throughout the day taking in places such as the picturesque 'Dark Hedges' made famous in the hit HBO show Game of Thrones as the 'King's Road', Dunluce Castle, Carnlough Harbour and much more!
The main stop for the day would be our final stop at the Giant's Causeway, made up of over 40,000 columns of basalt and often referred to as the 8th wonder of world, the Causeway is a 'must see' when visiting Northern Ireland!

Carrickfergus Castle
Your day begins with a visit to Carrickfergus Castle, one of Ireland’s best-preserved Norman castles. Built in 1177, this formidable structure has withstood sieges by the Scots, Irish, English, and French over its 800-year history. Explore its thick stone walls, ancient battlements, and learn about its storied past. You can also find the statue of King William III, commemorating his land at Carrickfergus on June 14, 1690.
You’ll have the option to pay for entry and explore the castle or for those who prefer to stay outside, the castle’s surroundings offer plenty of charm and photo opportunities, along with a chance to grab a coffee to start your journey.

Glenarm Castle (Pass By)
As we continue our journey, the scenic views on this segment of the tour include the magnificent Glenarm Castle, a true gem of Northern Ireland’s rich heritage. Nestled amidst the rolling hills of County Antrim and overlooking the serene waters of Glenarm Bay, this historic estate is one of Ireland’s oldest continuously inhabited castles, dating back to the 17th century.
This part of the tour is a perfect blend of natural beauty and historical significance, showcasing Glenarm Castle as a captivating centrepiece surrounded by the unspoiled splendour of the Antrim Coast.
Carnlough (Pass By)
Our journey now takes us through the picturesque Carnlough Harbour, a charming and serene location that fans of Game of Thrones may recognize from Season 6. This idyllic harbor, nestled along the stunning Antrim Coast, served as the backdrop for a memorable scene where Arya Stark makes a daring escape. After narrowly surviving a surprise attack from the Waif, Arya leaps into the harbor’s calm waters and struggles to safety, eventually crawling up the historic stone steps. Beyond its connection to the hit series, Carnlough Harbour offers breathtaking views of traditional fishing boats bobbing in the water, surrounded by quaint stone buildings and the rugged beauty of the Irish coastline. It’s a spot where history, nature, and cinematic magic come together in perfect harmony.
Glens of Antrim (Pass By)
This stunning segment of the journey takes us through the breathtaking Glens of Antrim, a collection of nine lush, green valleys that stretch from the Antrim Plateau to the coast. Each of these glens has its own unique character, charm, and legends, making this area one of the most captivating landscapes in Northern Ireland.
Portaneevy View Point
Stop at the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, where you’ll enjoy a stunning viewpoint overlooking the 75-foot chasm that separates the mainland from Carrick Island. While the bridge itself is not crossed on this tour, the viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the cliffs, the surrounding coastline, and the vibrant blue sea below. It’s a perfect spot for photography of the Northern Irish coastline.

Next, we visit The Dark Hedges, a tunnel of hauntingly beautiful beech trees planted over 300 years ago. Fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones will instantly recognize this as the Kingsroad, where Arya Stark made her daring escape from King’s Landing. Even if you’re not familiar with the show, the beautiful setting makes for an incredible photo opportunity.
While here, enjoy a delicious lunch at the nearby Hedges Hotel. Whether you’re fuelling up for the rest of the journey or simply relaxing, this stop combines great food with unforgettable scenery.

Dunluce Castle
This medieval fortress perched on a cliff overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean is one of the most breathtaking views on the tour. Dunluce is also famously known to Game of Thrones fans as the House of Greyjoy. The castle has a history as wild and stormy as its setting. Tales of betrayal, intrigue, and tragedy surround this site, which has inspired countless legends and writers.
You’ll have the option to pay for entry and explore the castle or admire the ruins from the outside. Either way, this stop offers a spectacular backdrop for photos.

Very fun and learnt so much!
Lisa our guide and Davey our driver, they were fantastic. Lisa took her time to get to know everyone on the bus and entertained us the whole trip with funny stories.
Would definitely reccomend this trip but pack some lunch if you have to save some penny.
