Shenzhen Bay Park is a seaside urban park in Shenzhen, China. The park occupies a 13-kilometre long stretch of reclaimed land along the southern coast of Shenzhen on the north shore of Shenzhen Bay, starting west near Shenzhen Bay Bridge at Wanghai road and ending at the Hongshulin Nature Reserve.

Enjoy watching light show at Civic Center Square ( light show will last about 25minutes ) It will start at 7:30 pm .will be in No less that 42 of the district's skyscrapers are completely decked out in LEDs. The light show coordinates them all in a single, stunning half hour of kaleidoscopic wonderment, on a citywide scale. The Shenzhen Light Show has to be seen to be believed. It is best viewed from Lianhuashan Park. There is a large space at the base of the hill the park is on, facing the Shenzhen Civic Center from a distance of about 600 meters.

The architecture is designed by Arata Isozaki, a famous Japanese avant-grade architect, who enjoys a reputation in the international construction field. It is a modern and professional concert hall specifically designed and constructed for music performance.

Shenzhen is amazing and emblematic of the progress that China has made in the last 20 years. We stayed in Futian which is a newer part of the city with wide avenues, skyscrappers, very clean and well organized. We visited the museum which showed the progress of Shenzhen over the 40 years and it would be truly unbelievable until we witnessed it ourselves. The higher end restaurants had great food and service at a prices that is 60% of that of Hong Kong. The shopping for electronic goods were a real bargain. The cleanliness and safety is equivalent to my home city, Singapore. I will definitely be back.
