Overview

Ghibli Park is a public facility welcoming visitors into the world of Studio Ghibli. There are 5 areas: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village, and Valley of Witches. This tour includes a Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass. This pass allows entry to all 5 areas. The pass also allows access to cafés, restaurants, shops, play equipment, and rides (additional charges apply). The following buildings cannot be entered: World Emporium (Hill of Youth), Satsuki and Mei's House (Dondoko Forest), The Okino Residence, Howl's Castle, and The House of Witches (Valley of Witches). The Aichi Museum of Flight is an aircraft-themed museum with exhibits including the YS-11, an aircraft developed by Japanese aviation engineer Jiro Horikoshi, who inspired the model for the main character of the movie "The Wind Rises." Itinerary

Ghibli Park

After arriving at Ghibli Park, customers can enjoy their time on their own in the park. There is a designated entry time for Ghibli's Grand Warehouse. Admission time is 10:00-11:00. On your visit, please be sure to bring the voucher provided on the day as well as your passport. Please be careful as entry will not be allowed for those who arrive past the specified time and those who forget to bring their voucher and passport. Please enjoy the bento box meal inside the Expo 2005 Commemorative Park on your own. Depending on road conditions, the meal may also be enjoyed while on board.

Aichi Museum of Flight

This aircraft-themed museum features exhibits including the YS-11, an aircraft developed by Japanese aviation engineer Jiro Horikoshi, who inspired the model for the main character of the Ghibli movie “The Wind Rises.” Enjoy the impressive exhibits including a fullscale model of the Zero Fighter created based on detailed plans.

The Ghibli Park admission ticket will be handed out by the guide on the day. Please be aware that entry to Ghibli Park is not possible using the reservation confirmation sheet from the booking website.
When booking, please reserve using your name as written on your passport. When entering Ghibli Park, passport will be checked.
Customers are responsible for paying all transportation expenses other than the included transportation listed in the itinerary.
This tour includes a Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass. This pass allows entry to all 5 areas: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village, and Valley of Witches. A designated entry time applies only for Ghibli's Grand Warehouse. The pass also allows access to cafés, restaurants, shops, play equipment, and rides (additional charges apply). While there is no designated entry time for the 4 areas aside from Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, visitors may have to queue if there is a waiting line. The following buildings cannot be entered: World Emporium (Hill of Youth), Satsuki and Mei's House (Dondoko Forest), The Okino Residence, Howl's Castle, and The House of Witches (Valley of Witches).
If sightseeing facilities are closed, the tour will be taken to alternative destinations.
The departure and arrival times and time to be spent at destinations written on the itinerary are an estimate. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
There is an accompanying National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. The tour will be guided to the entrance to Ghibli's Grand Warehouse inside Ghibli Park. Within Ghibli Park, customers will be enjoying seeing the sights on their own.
Children up to 3 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or lunch.
Lunch includes a Vegetarian bento box meal and drink.
Please enjoy the bento box meal inside the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park on your own. Depending on road conditions, the meal may also be enjoyed while on board.

Entry to Ghibli's Grand Warehouse in Ghibli Park is at a specified date and time (10:00-11:00). Please give yourself plenty of time to reach the park as entry will not be allowed for those who arrive past the specified time.
Customers are required to show the voucher provided on the day and their passport to enter. Please be careful as entry will not be allowed for those who forget to bring their voucher and passport.
Reception will be per group. Please be sure to have all group members together before entering as individual entry is not permitted.
Entry with a copied voucher is not allowed.
Tour duration includes the travel time.

Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.

It’s so difficult to get into Ghibli Park, especially as a foreigner. I was a bit nervous that this was somehow a scam but it definitely wasn’t. The tour guides were delightful and full of facts and helpful info. I appreciated not having to stay in a group while in the park. I’ve seen people complain that they weren’t aware they could not go inside some of the buildings. The details state this multiple times. But it’s still worth it. Though an auto museum isn’t my sort of thing this one was incredible. So much I didn’t even know I wanted to know. I would go on this experience multiple times if given the chance.

I think it was awesome! And our guide Lilly is really nice, helpful and sweet, i would defenetly do this again, the bento was delicious and We bought really much stuff! I really recomend this

Lily was our tourguide of the day! she is very informative and friendly! as well as patience with us throughout the tour. it wad a good alternative to get entry ticket for Ghibli park when we couldnt get it online in time. The tour starts and ends very on-time! bento was vegetarian food which is interesting. the park is huge n used up our 5hours in the park jus with non-premium tickets. it was fulfilling experience in Nagoya!
