Český Krumlov is a historic town in South Bohemia, known for its stunning castle, charming medieval streets, and unique atmosphere that takes visitors back in time. This full-day trip lasts about 8 hours, including travel time. The journey takes approx 2 hrs each way. In Český Krumlov, we’ll spend about 4 hours discovering: - Český Krumlov Castle, with its museum and a tower offering fantastic views. - The monastery museum, full of history and quiet charm. - St. Vitus Church, a Gothic masterpiece in the heart of the town.   • Minorite Monastery

    We will visit the monastery museum for about 30 mins. Founded in 1350 by the Rosenberg family, this unique complex originally housed Minorites, Poor Clares, and later sisters Beguines. It spans nearly a fifth of the historic town centre and is the second largest and most significant heritage site in Český Krumlov after the castle. We will walk through the monastery courtyard and garden. Tickets cost 150/100 CZK.

  • Latran houses

    "Latrán" is the name of the street with very valuable gothic and baroque houses. Among others you can see here the the linking corridor - part of a unique system connecting monastery church with castle

  • Cesky Krumlov Castle

    We will walk through the 5 courtayrds of the castle and climb the tower. The castle was first mentioned in 1253AD. The names of emperors who lived there are: Víteks, Rosenbergs, Voks, Eggenbergs, Schwarzenbergs... From 1947 the castle belongs to the state. We will enter through the Red Gate. You can say Hi to the bears who "protect" the castle. Visiting of the main landmark (the oldest part of the castle with small museum and the famous tower) is recommended. There are beatiful views... but lot of old stairs to climb! The tower is closed on Mondays from November to March! Admission 280 CZK/220 CZK.

    Very impressive covered bridge consisting of monumental arcade construction and two storeys of covered corridors. It links the castle with the baroque theatre and gardens.

  • Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov

    We will cross the river Vltava using the small footbridge, heading to the church of St. Vitus via "Široká" street. We will stop at house No.77 from the 16th century, in which lived the alchemist who deceived Wilhelm of Rosenberg.

  • Church of St. Vitus

    The Roman Catholic church of St. Vitus is after the castle the most famous landmark of the town. It was built about 1400 AD. YOu can see the typical gothic architecture, two small gothic altars and the main baroque altar there.

  • Hotel Ruze - Former Jesuit College

    From the outside we will see the former Jesuit college, now the Hotel Růže. We will stop at the viewpoint and continue towards Svornosti Square.
