Overview
Live an impressive experience knowing and learning about the pre-Incan cultures that habited the area that is now known as "Trujillo" on a private and personalized tour in an SUV monitored 24/7 system to guarantee your safety, in addition to a driver and guide widely instructed and bilingual.
The experience begins with pick-up at the hotel, then passing through the Moche Valley and appreciating the roads that the ancient Peruvian settlers used to travel.

Itinerary
La Huaca del Sol
We will pick you up from the hotel, pass through the Moche Valley and arrive at the Temple of the Sun and the Moon, an archaeological complex, considered a Moche sanctuary. It consists of a set of monuments located about five kilometers south of the city of Trujillo, in the Moche district. This archaeological site physically represented the capital of the Moche culture.
It preserves interesting mural paintings in 5 colours (white, black, red, blue and yellow), which were obtained from minerals, and reliefs where you can see the Moche deity called Ai apaec or the beheading god. It is also possible to visit the ceremonial courtyards and plazas that are more than 1,500 years old.

We can find exhibitions of the culture's ceramics, a module that provides graphic information (3D cube), and display cases that exhibit metallurgical pieces from the society.

Huanchaco
We will have lunch in Huanchaco, fresh seafood straight from the sea in a world-renowned restaurant, or you can choose the one you like best. This is the most important and beautiful beach in the city of Trujillo. It is a favorite beach for surfing and where the caballitos de totora also ride the waves.
In its waters, Caballitos de Totora still sail, traditional rafts used by fishermen on the northern coast since pre-Columbian times. Huanchaco is one of the favorite beaches for surf lovers.
The beach is a tourist spot and is the scene of international surfing competitions, being known for the Longboard Pro Peru, a world longboard championship that takes place in the summer of each year.Finally we will see the Sunset, eat "Picarones", a typical dessert from Huanchaco, which consists of a sweet dough in the shape of a donut accompanied by honey and we will return to the Hotel.
