Itinerary

  • Grasse

    We start at Grasse, a city of perfumes since the 17th century, today the world capital of perfumery. It is also called the "capital of flowers and perfumes". It is a typical city of Provence. You are offered a visit of the old town or Fragonard perfumery.

    You will have an opportunity to visit a famous perfume factory Fragonard.

  • Gourdon

    You will then continue onto Gourdon, where you will be able to stroll around the beautiful medieval village and admire a breathtaking landscape from the top of this fortified little town.

  • Cascades du Saut du Loup

    On the way, you will admire the very picturesque waterfalls of the Saut du Loup with emerald colored pools.

    20 minutes

  • Tourrettes-sur-Loup

    Then you will discover Tourrettes-sur-Loup, charming perched medieval village that is called "City of Violets”. On its streets, you will find the workshops of ceramists, painters, sculptors, leather craftsmen and weavers.

    40 minutes

  • St-Paul-de-Vence

    To complete the tour you will visit one of the best-preserved fortified villages in the South of France, namely St Paul de Vence. There, walking through the narrow winding streets, vaulted alleyways and arcades, you will be transported back into the Middles Ages.

Great tour of the beautiful inland villages of Provence.

Great tour with a fantastic choice of sites to see. Really enjoyed the charm of all the medieval fortress villages such as Grasse, Tourette sur Loup, St. Paul de Vence and several more, with some surprising extra sites along the way that Rym, our guide, stopped at. Rym is a local and has extensive knowledge of the history of the region that she shared with us which it made the excursion very enriching. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like a departure from the seaside towns.

Probably the best excursion we’ve had since we’ve been coming to Europe. Ottilia, our driver and guide was so kind. Patient, and so good at explaining all the different sites. It was also very nice that she gave us choices at times whether we wanted to stay how long we wanted to stay in one place. I would highly recommend her as well as the excursion. We did the ground loop for a full day. Fantastic.!!!

Probably the best excursion we’ve had since we’ve been coming to Europe. Ottilia, our driver and guide was so kind. Patient, and so good at explaining all the different sites.
