    09:30 Pick up in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to discover the triangular tour Meknes Volubilis and Moulay Idriss Excursion with stops for breathtaking panoramas, take a deep breath of the pure, fresh and fresh air. First, stop at Volubilis (Roman city) where you will spend free time exploring the remains of the 2,000-year-old complex.

    Next, the holiest city of Moulay Idriss (where Moulay Idriss I introduced Islam in 789 AD). Take a quick tour of its narrow streets

    Then, return to the comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for the transfer to the imperial city of Meknes, founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military colony. When visiting Meknes, we will see the main attractions such as El Hedim Square, Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, El Heri es-Souani, the medina, the monumental gates of the city and the ornamental decorations of the architecture Hispano-Moorish. The visit to the city of Meknes will not end without a visit to the Moroccan Art Museum to discover a wide variety of pure Moroccan craftsmanship. During the triangular journey, feel free to enjoy a break for lunch (at your leisure) whenever you wish. Finally, back to Fez -Drop off your Hotel/Riad

Wonderful day seeing historical sights

History is one of my passions. So I especially enjoyed Volubilis Roman ruins. The driver gave us an hour to visit the ruins, but I spent an hour and a half and could have stayed longer. He was very accommodating to tour members' individual needs if we needed more time. I met some lovely people on the tour. Another solo traveller and I wandered around Meknes together, had a picnic lunch in the park and visited the Meknes museum. We both noted that museums in Morocco can do a much better job interpreting their artefacts and informing visitors. There were no dates to indicate historical periods on any of the signs. Gift shops would be welcome.

The staff is very kind, will contact you the day before to confirm the pick-up location and time and pick you up on time. They will stop at spots to take pictures during the tour. The restaurant for lunch was for groups and the couscous was delicious! Have a safe and enjoyable trip! Highly recommended!!
