We had a great trip from Fes to Volubilis, with a short stop-off in Moulay Idris, then on to Meknes - all beautiful and interesting places to visit. Our driver, Karim, was lovely - very thoughtful, kind and helpful, and a very safe and careful driver too . He was a pleasure to spend time with, and helped to make the day that much more enjoyable. Making the booking was easy and we're glad we took a day out of our short stay in Fes to see some things we wouldn't have been able to see without a car of our own.

We spent two days touring in Fez and environs. On the first day we spent a day touring Fez. First we drove to sights outside of the Medina and then walked through the Medina. Our guide, Rashid, was knowledgeable and friendly. Be prepared to be asked to buy a variety of crafts as you visit some of the shops. Nobody was pushy, and we felt free to decline offers. On the second day we visited Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes. We were driven to the sights by a friendly, English-speaking driver and toured the sights on our own.

This was a very beautiful and interesting day trip from Fez. The drive through the countryside was lovely. The Roman ruins of Volubilis were especially stunning with the backdrop of wildflowers and green hills. (I recommend paying for the local guide - it enhances the experience.) Mohamed stopped for photos and gave us several choices for activities. At the end, he gave us a wonderful little tour of the outside of the Medina, including the drive up to the fort overlooking the city and a trip to the ceramic tile making/ mosaic coop (highly recommended). There was no pressure to buy anything and the coop was fascinating.

A great day out. Very interesting. Well cared for by Mohammed who took us to these places. You can engage a private guide at Volubilis if needed, but we took ourselves which was sufficient. A good driver, nice car, very comfortable.

Our driver and guide Mohammad was prompt and courteous. He was enthusiastic about his work and clearly proud of his heritage and the areas we visited. We found the destinations outlined interesting, in particular the Volubilis archeological site. Our guide made many additional stops at points of interest and provided opportunities to photograph wonderful views. We were given the opportunity to tailor the trip to our liking. We were never rushed and got much more than we expected. I would highly recommend.
