Itinerary

Reconnect with your family, friends and the great outdoors during a scenic Cheakamus Splash rafting trip with Canadian Outback Rafting. With fun splashy rapids and some of British Columbia’s most breathtaking scenery, everyone in your family will have a great time and make memories you’ll cherish together forever. Upon arrival, everyone will be required to sign a release of liability waiver. Youths under 19 require a parent or guardian's signature. If under the age of 19 and a guardian cannot be present to sign, please inform our office and we will e-mail you a waiver PDF file to be printed and pre-signed by the parent or guardian and a witness. The waiver must be dated for the DAY of the tour. If you are in a group, please send the waiver to your other members for them to review prior to the trip.

Family friendly fun

We had a brilliant day with Rob and Matt on the river. They made it great fun for the kids and were always safe. The scenery was gorgeous, the rapids a lot of fun and lovely to have a swim too. Thanks to Rob and Matt for a great day!

We had the best time and was the highlight of our visit to Vancouver! This was the perfect blend of fun, adventure, and a bit of a thrill ride. Similar to the water park rides where you get wet, feel thrilled and have fun. Was initially worried it was a lot of money for a simple float down the river, which it did have some of that, but mixed in with plenty of small rapids that dipped and swirled you and made you wet. The paddling was easy on my 'mom arms', no real struggle keeping up and the wet suits kept you warm. We took the morning ride, 4th week in July and the water was cold so wet suites were perfect. Simply wore our swimsuits under them, no socks needed. Our guide was the BEST > Jada (sorry if misspelled!) You don't pick your guide but we loved ours. She was super friendly and enjoyed the job. She had us high fiving paddles, spinning us several times, kept us involved with information on the river and her experiences canoeing. We would do this all over again.... Wish it had been a longer float on the river itself. And all the reviews about getting bus sick was not an issue on this family version. A bit of a bumpy dirt road for the last 5 min. and that was it. I'm prone to car sickness and seasickness and nothing was bad enough for that.

Awesome family experience, core memory! Ryan was a terrific guide for our two families with kids 5-10. All the staff were friendly, informative, helpful. The kids had a blast and grownups, too. Thorough safety procedures, efficient process with gear, flawless experience, would repeat without question.
