It's a short drive up Sand Flats Rd, only a few minutes from town. Turn right at old dump road, you'll quickly see a gravel parking area on the right. Please park in a manner that allows all drivers to use the parking area as efficiently as possible.

A captivating experience to say the least! We have a variety of trails available to us, so we tend to slightly adjust each tour to make it as enjoyable as possible for each group! This tour takes place In the beautiful backcountry of Moab's famous red rocks. Enjoy the incredible scenery while our experienced guide navigates the four wheel drive obstacles. Your guide is knowledgable and will be offering information regarding the details of the surrounding area. We will keep you laughing on this adventure while making unforgettable memories!

Magical Moab with Marine Mike

Our family of five plus our dog enjoyed a fabulous day out with Mike in Moab. He picked us up at our hotel in one of his high quality off road machines. We spent the day off roading in Moab. In many places, we were the only people in the area, and as such, our experience was serene, peaceful, spectacular and very special. We saw arches and other spectacular rock formations, as well as dinosaur tracks and fossils. At each stop, our dog delighted in running free. Mike is top quality guide and driver. We connected instantly and had a really fun day. Mike is charismatic, very articulate and intelligent, highly competent and a wonderful story teller with a seemingly unlimited supply of interesting stories. He is also a fine photographer, as evidenced by the photos he took of our family. He loves his job and it shows in the way he conducted his tour. If we are ever back in Moab, our first booking will be another event with Mike.

Amazing tour with Mike

Mike picked us up at our resort a took us to Hells Revenge off road 4x4 site. Oh my, up and down rocks and hills that had me closing my eyes at times (hubby fine). Quite thrilling. Stopped at the dinosaur track site where he gave us a very informative account of the tracks and history of area. As a life long resident of Moab, he knows his stuff! 100% recommend his company, his heart is in it. Worth the time and price.

An amazing (and wheelchair accessible) back country experience

This experience from beginning to end was fantastic! Mike the owner was our driver and expert tour guide and is one hell of an amazing human being in addition to being a great off road driver. The big converted military vehicle was able to go everywhere in the Moab backcountry and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. There was plenty of excitement as well with us going up and down ridiculously steep off road trails. Special note to all of my compatriots with disabilities… this tour is 100 percent wheelchair accessible with a lift on the back of the vehicle. You do need to transfer out of your wheelchair into one off the off road seats for safety reasons but a tour of this type being accessible is extremely rare and huge thanks to Mike for taking the time and expense to adapt his vehicle so EVERYONE can participate… bravo sir

Big Iron tours rocks. Best in Moab by far!

Mike did not disappoint and made our trip so memorable. We all wanted to take Brutus home with us. Do yourself a favor and do this tour!
