Lempuyang Temple is one of Baliās oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the āmother templeā of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali.

My husband and I really had such a great experience touring the beautiful temples. What really made it great though was our guide Putu. He explained things so well. We learned so much about the history, culture and customs of the Balinese people. He was always thoughtful of our feelings and comfort and was actually really great at taking pictures as well. This was our second tour with Eco Bali Tours and again they did not disappoint.

Raja was my tour guide and he made the trip so wholesome by providing insight on every stop and sharing the Balinese culture. Every stop we made was beautiful and busy with tourists and Raka was very patient and willing to take photos. I enjoyed every stop and the trip will hold a special place in my heart.
Amazing Third Day Bali Tour 2024

The morning started early, and Budi our tour guide was punctual in picking us up in our hotel. The car he drove was impeccably clean, and he made sure that we are comfortable through out a long day trip. He was very friendly, accommodating to our needs and knowledgeable about the places that we were taken. We highly recommend him, and will not hesitate to ask for him in our next visit to Bali.
