Overview

A private and fully escorted whiskey and beer tour of Dublin in executive transport, celebrating the city's most famous exports - Jameson Whiskey and Guinness Beer. It's a city tour with whiskey and beer in it's heart, your Host will bring the city to life as you travel through many different districts of Dublin. This a private tour for you and your travel companions only (with shared tour at Jameson Distillery Bow St. and private tour at Guinness Storehouse). We arrive at Guinness Storehouse at a little after 10am, before the masses. But don’t worry, we won’t be drinking beer right away if that sounds a little early in the day for you! Your Host will take you on a private tour of Guinness Storehouse. Then we travel across the River Liffey to Smithfield – to the original home of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Your Host takes you on a stroll of the buildings sharing ‘insider’ knowledge of the Jameson story and then you join the Bow St. Experience tour.

John was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable, kind, funny, and informative! It was a living history lesson about both Dublin and the tour experiences (Guinness & Jameson). Private tours are the way to go. John picked us up at our hotel and saw to our transportation and extra special, personalized treatment throughout the day. John even cared for our shopping and delivered it to our hotel concierge for pickup later. Our Dublin Private Guinness and Jameson Whiskey Tour with Transfers was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we received a friendly text from our guide, John Callely (Junior), the day before the tour, we knew we were in good hands. John’s punctual arrival at our hotel in a sleek, luxurious car set the tone for a seamless day of exploration. First stop: Guinness! With VIP access through a backdoor entrance, we bypassed all the crowds and lines. John’s knowledge and passion for Dublin’s heritage shone through in every fascinating story and detail he shared. The tour felt tailored just for us, like a stroll through history with an old friend. He even offered to take our photo and was incredibly patient as we lingered over the parts that captivated us most. After soaking up the panoramic views and savoring a freshly poured Guinness, John whisked us off to Jameson, where we enjoyed yet another seamless experience. Skipping lines, he accompanied us right up to our tasting experience, giving us space to immerse ourselves in the presentation of four whiskeys. We reconvened afterward for some souvenir shopping, with John offering expert advice on where to find the best keepsakes. And the service didn’t stop there! Instead of just dropping us at the hotel, he took our newly acquired treasures back for us while we enjoyed lunch nearby at one of his favorite spots. He even arranged to have our items safely placed in our room. It was as if he was not only our guide but also our personal concierge, making us feel entirely taken care of. John’s warm personality and effortless conversation made the entire tour feel like a morning with an old friend, sharing laughter and insights along the way. This tour was worth every penny and more—an experience so smooth and enjoyable that it’s a must-do for anyone visiting Dublin. We’d book another tour with John in a heartbeat and can’t wait to recommend this gem of a tour to all our friends!
