Overview

Our Golden Tours representative will meet you outside Pauls Express Cafe in St Pancras International at 6.00am (5.30am on Saturdays), where you’ll receive a welcome pack in exchange for your voucher. Enjoy a day trip from London to Paris with reserved Eurostar seats and explore Paris at your leisure. See the iconic Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral. Pop into the exquisite boutiques, and charming cafes or take a cruise on River Seine.

Itinerary

  • St. Pancras International Station

    Arrive at St. Pancras International Station where a Golden Tours representative will meet you at Paul Express Coffee Shop in Unit 2 at 5:45am (5:15am on Saturdays). You will receive an informative welcome pack and a free map of Paris. Plese note that you must arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the time stated. Kick off your Paris day trip in style with a ride on the world-famous Eurostar™. The 2hr 15min journey to Paris passes through 31 miles of Channel Tunnel – before disembarking at Gare due Nord station, Paris!

    Discover Paris at your leisure! Visit the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame, hit the shops or simply while away the hours at a pavement café – the choice is yours! We’ll provide a Paris map and a one day travel card (zones 1-3) so you can get around by Metro and visit all the top sights with ease!

  • Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris (Pass By)

    Completed in the 13th century and considered an important evidence of French Gothic architecture, Notre-Dame de Paris is a symbol of Catholicism and French identity. The popularity of the cathedral increased considerably after the publication in 1831 of Victor Hugo's novel Notre-Dame de Paris (better known in English as The Hunchback of Notre-Dame). The cathedral is currently under reconstruction, after the fire from 15 April 2019 that destroyed the roof and spire but left the structure intact.

    Return Journey. After a thrilling day spent discovering Paris, make your own way back to Gare du Nord 1st floor, at the Eurostar check-in at least 60 minutes before departure.

  • Golden Tours will have no liability if Eurostar trains are delayed for unforeseen circumstances such as security alerts, third party action, or bad weather as this is beyond the supplier's control.
  • ‘Due to security reasons and regulations imposed by the train company and the attractions, you must contact the supplier 24 hours after the booking date to confirm the exact names of all the travellers within your booking’.

Long day, but worth it!

I was staying in London for a few days with friends and two of us decided to take this tour to check out Paris in a day. Yes! it is a long day but the tour is well organized, you are given everything you need to find your way around (map). Me and my friend had a blast in Paris, we took the hop on bus which you can find right outside of the train station you get off of. It was the best way to go sightseeing and enjoy the city and major attractions with the short time we had. Overall the tour is worth it specially if you are just trying to spend a day in Paris or squeeze up as much as you can during your trip.

The rep. met us at St. Pancras explained everything. After that we were completely independent.
We had plenty of time to enjoy Paris and the Metro day pass is a great plus.
We made reservations at Les Ombres restaurant, it was marvelous, definitely recommend! We upgraded to first class our way back
