We were amazed at the knowledge of our guide, Cahill and our skipper, Bruce. Not only did Bruce sight a Minky whale on our trip he stopped while we watched and actually turned around and looked for it! We were also lucky to see two different varieties of dolphins, and Bruce slowed down and made his way right by the pods. We were given ample time to look at the large group of seals on Blaskett Island while our guide regaled us with stories of the area and facts about what's been happening since the inhabitants left. We were very lucky with the weather the week we were there, and this trip was a highlight!
So thank you Bruce and Cahill for this memorable experience. In comparison, the impersonal ferry boat ride we took below The Cliffs of Moher was dull, lackluster, and the commentary was probably recorded!
I suggest that no one should miss this experience if ever they are in the vicinity of Dingle!
