Overview

Enjoy a fun and informative three hour guided eco tour along the coast past Slea Head, the Great Blasket Island and Beginis Island in Irelands only Marine National park. Enjoy the magnificent cliffs and rock formations along the coastline of the Dingle Peninsula. Watch out for whales, dolphins and other marine wildlife. Stop off at the Grey Seal colony around the Great Blasket Island beach and Beginis island.. Listen to the guide sweeping through the history and folklore of the unique society that was formed on the Blasket islands.

Excellent experience ! so much fun for the whole family ! Seals , puffins & dolphins ! Declan was very informative! Can’t wait to do it all again in the near future!

Blanket Island boat tour

The boat ride was a total experience! We saw amazing scenery, puffins, a seal colony, red deer and two BASKING SHARKS!! It was awesome! The ride was a little bumpy and I was soaked. To be honest my 7 and 10 yr old plus husband loved it, it scared the poop out of me a bit.

Great family activity in Dingle!!!

Wonderful!!! The most beautiful views on the Great Blasket Island! Baby seals on the island and Dolphins on the way back! I went on the boat tour with my family in May. The boat ride was comfortable, I was able to use both the outside and inside seating. There is a clean toilet on the boat. The eco talk about the area and the Blasket Islands was informative. We spent 2 hours on the island, which is plenty to enjoy the glorious views, walk around the houses and to relax on the beach. There is a little shop and toilets for public use on the island. On the way back we were followed by a group of dolphins. Can't wait to return!!

Highly recommend! One of the best decisions of our trip. Lovely tour guide with information about the peninsula, history, facts, etc. - plus what's not to love about seeing dolphins!! Bundle up though even with warm weather the sea is very cold.

Bundle up for this scenic boat ride of your lifetime. From the welcome as we entered to Anna equipping me with layers to keep warm to the historical narration of the Blasket Islands to watching the colony of seals play on the beach this three hour experience was a delightful one.
