We offer pickup from any hotel in Dubai. For pickups from a residence or apartment, a private vehicle booking is required. Pick-up times vary throughout the year based on sunrise times. As a general guideline, expect pickup between 6:30 am and 7:00 am. We will confirm your exact pick-up time via email ... or phone call around 5:00 pm the day before your excursion. Arrive at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve to put on your Sheila/Ghutra (traditional headscarf). There are photo opportunities with the fleet of vintage Land Rovers.

Nature drive through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in a luxurious Land Rover Defender and visit an exclusive Royal lake that is also bird sanctuary.

Arrive at the famous Al Maha Resort for a full gourmet breakfast with buffet and a-la-carte options.

I so enjoyed my tour with Fahad. The desert is beautiful as were the oryx, gazelles, and birds. Fahad pointed out tracks made by rodents, reptiles, and insects, the burrows of little critters, and trees that marked water sources. It was interesting to learn about the dynamics of the desert ecology. You can even see a distant solar energy lens system. Breakfast was lovely, but it was the desert that meant more to me. It was terrific to take a break from crowds and commercialism and enjoy the peacefulness of this tour.
An interesting contrast to the city

I really enjoyed seeing the wildlife - Arabian Oryx, gazelle and sand gecko. Our guide, Fahid, gave very interesting explanations. The breakfast in the lovely resort was delicious !

Started at 07.00 and driver was on time. Driver was very knowledgeable and the drive through the conservation area was excellent. Saw all the animals at various locations throughout the drive. The tour guide was very friendly and pointed out key areas of interest. The breakfast at the hotel was superb and the hotel itself is fantastic in the middle of the desert. Must mention Jay the tour guide, top professional.
First class service and experience

What can we say other than this was amazing! Platinum Heritage picked us up from our hotel in the fanciest Range Rover and spirited us away 1 hour from Dubai to experience the Desert Conservation Area. Our driver/guide, Ali, was phenomenal. He was friendly, knowledgable and very accomodating. Our drive through the conservation area caused our son to feel a little motion sick, but Ali, just popped him right up front with him and the drive continued. The breakfast at Al Maha was exceptional. It was made even better by their catering for our son's coeliac requirement. He was delighted to have a gluten free croissant and pancakes made just for him. We felt special and well looked after. We would highly recommend Platinum Heritage.
