Overview

The DMZ area is the closest district to North Korea.Ā This is primarily held in theĀ Imjingak peace park where you can see the freedom bridge and Mangbaedan. Then move to Dora observatory where you can take a glimpse look at North Korea. Depending on the weather, you might be able to see North Korea through a telescope at the Dora observatory. The last stop will be the 3rd tunnel, which you will have the opportunity toĀ enter the tunnel made by North Korean soldiers on foot. If you are interested in learning about the war history between North and South Korea, this tour is best for you. **We might need to take a DMZ shuttle at the Imjingak Park to enter the DMZ area by the government policy if less than 30 customers or all the spaces are taken.

  • Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park

    Imjingak Park, located 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line, is well known for its related to the Korean War. Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. The three-storied Imjingak is surrounded by several monuments, Unification Park and North Korea Center.

  • The Third Tunnel

    The 3rd Tunnel was discovered by South Korea in 1978. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour.

  • Dorasan Station (Pass By)

    Dorasan Station is the northernmost stop on South Korea's railway line. Located 56 km from Seoul and 205 km from Pyeongyang. *Dorasan station is closed, due to military reasons.

  • Dora Observatory

    From this Dora Observatory, you can overlook North Korea and various locations including Gaeseong, Songaksan, Kim Il-Sung Statue, and Cooperation Farm (Geumamgol).
