Sail Liberty offers topnotch sailing for up to six passengers. Enjoy an unforgettable harbor tour on our 1904-replica sloop. Her wooden mast and teak accents make it one of the most photographed sailboats in the harbor. Our highly-rated small group harbor tours include white wine, a selection of beers, soft drinks, and snacks. You'll see all the harbor highlights as we sail using traditional techniques aboard a classic vessel unlike any other in San Diego. Want a private tour? Simply book all six seats.

  • Maritime Museum of San Diego (Pass By)

    Sail around the Star of India The World’s oldest active sailing ship, the Star of India, is docked at the Maritime Museum of San Diego and is the featured attraction of this special museum.

  • USS Midway Museum (Pass By)

    Sail under the bow of the aircraft carrier Midway for an out-of-this-world experience. The USS Midway Museum is an experience the whole family can enjoy. There are 60 exhibits, dozens of restored aircraft, flight simulators and much more.

  • Seaport Village (Pass By)

    Seaport Village is home to 14 acres of waterfront shopping, dining, and entertainment. You can spend several hours day or night visiting the unique shops and enjoy a delicious meal as you watch the sun go down over the harbor

One of a kind Sail in SD Bay

Captain Phillip was low key, interesting and is clearly an experienced navigator of the SD Bay. The restored vintage sail boat was incredible.

Phillip our Captain was incredible! We sailed, listened to music, conversed, and I was even the Captain for a short period of time.

Smooth cruising on a classic boat

We had a perfect day aboard the Liberty. With knowledgeable and capable Captain Philip at the helm, we got to see many of the sights of San Diego Bay - all without the noise of a motor. Philip is a wealth of knowledge about the area and about sailing. The trip as a wonderful afternoon, worth every penny we spent, and we are planning to book a other trip with him in the future.

Captain Phillip treated my wife and me to a relaxed sail across and around the waters of San Diego harbor in his sturdy vintage craft on an afternoon of perfect weather. We'd happily do it again.
