Overview

Drive to Gallipoli, a pleasant drive that takes through the European (Thracian) lands of Turkey. Here you board a ferryboat to cross the Dardanelles Strait. On the other side of the Strait you will have local lunch. Then, visit to Gallipoli historical site including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Helen’s Troy. Return to Istanbul at late evening.

    Here you will see legendary walls of Troy and the replica of the wooden Trojan Horse. Visit the archaeological site of this 5000 years old city, visualization the scene of Fall of legendary Troy in the Trojan War as described in Homer's Iliad.

  • Canakkale Truva Heykeli

    You will see a reconstruction of the fabled Wooden Horse, the city ruins from a succession of 9 civilizations, the Roman Bouleuterion and onsite museum.

Great site but long day!!!

It was awesome to make it to Troy. Everyone was great getting us there and back safely and our tour of Troy was wonderful. Be prepared for a full day of travel. It is a long drive to Troy. The rest stops were nice and going across the Dardinelles by ferry was beautiful. Great site but a real effort to see Troy!!

This tour to Troy was an amazing experience, we travelled in April 2017. It was well organised, comfortable transport and fabulous lunch!
The Tour Guide was very informative and helpful. It was a small group and we were giving reasonable time for all the activities, shopping and photos sessions. Always take a light jacket during the cruise is a bit windy and cold.
The transport was very comfortable and they accommodate all our needs on the way to the historical site.
This part of Turkey is a must do.... the views are amazing and everything is cheaper than in Istanbul. Food was absolutely lovely!

A must when in Turkey. Emre our guide was very knowledgable and the whole day was filled with wonder of Turkish rural areas and of course the rich and wonderful history around Troy.
