We start our special tour for cruisers with a visit to a pineapple plantation and then the drive to the top of the volcano, where you'll enjoy one of the best-known landscapes in the Azores. Discover the only pineapple plantation planted in glass greenhouses and learn about the cultivation process.

Considered as one of the seven wonders of Portugal, this is a viewpoint where the most famous lakes of the Azores can be admired. The blue and green lake, are without a doubt a unique and magical sight.

Caldeira das Sete Cidades

Inside the Sete Cidades volcano you will have the opportunity to explore the the parish, visit the São Nicolau church or stroll along the blue lagoon's edge. The return is made after the lunch break, which you can join as an option.

Miradouro da Ponta do Escalvado

Viewpoint at altitude above the coast from where you can admire the huge cliffs and the black rocks of the Mosteiros islets. This will be the last point before returning to Ponta Delgada.

This island is beautiful !! Had a wonderful day with Duoago, our guide. He took us to the Blue/Green lakes and several other spots. We spent some time in town and had some local wine and cheese. He gave us lots of information and answered our questions. Relaxing, fun, a small group with comfortable transport around the island.

Joao was a great guide, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. If you have longer than a cruise stop we’d recommend taking the longer tour he offers, there’s a lot to see! We really enjoyed the quick wine/cheese stop too.
