Enjoy a day trip from Athens to the ancient Corinth, the ancient site of Epidaurus, taking in Nafplio’s charming old town along the way, and marveling at the grandeur of the Sanctuary of Asclepios. Epidaurus is recognized as one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. It is surrounded by stunning landscapes and offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy unique Greek history, myths and traditions.

This tour begins with a ride on the Corinth Canal, which was constructed in 1893. From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth's isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls.

Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos)

Ancient Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, one of the most famous and visited cities of Greece. The city is located in the South West of the Peloponnese surrounded by mountains that take their name from the ancient town. The most renowned monuments are: Temple of Apollo, Bema of Saint Paul and Roman Odeon.

The Archaeological Museum of Corinth houses a large collection of artifacts from the local site and from smaller sites in the neighboring area. 1 hour at the museum and 1 hour drive to reach our next stop

Palamidi Castle

Palamidi is a fortress in the town of Nafplio in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Nestled on the crest of a 216-metre high hill, the fortress was built by the Venetians during their second occupation of the area (1686–1715).

Fabulous and Varied Tour!

We highly recommend this experience! Truly a highlight of our 12 day Greek Adventure! Our guide was committed to giving us the best experience possible and he sure delivered! It ended up being a 12 hour day, with a variety of experiences that we thoroughly enjoyed! Our driver was so well-read and informed, sharing so much knowledge that truly added to our experience and understanding of what we saw, eventhough he was not a "certified guide". Definitely recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.

Great private tour.

We were expecting to share a minibus, but instead had a private tour. Georgio our driver spoke excellent English thankfully and we had a really fun day as a result. Locations were varied and interesting and we didnt feel the time pressure of a coach trip. Very relaxed and enjoyable trip!

This trip was an excellent way to experience the countryside of Greece. We highly recommend this tour and our excellent limo driver Billy. He was very attentive to our needs and was extremely friendly I wish we had read up on the history or paid for a guide at each site and places we were seeing before we embarked on the long journey.

Difficult walk but worth it if you are able

We really enjoyed the private tour. It was over 90 degrees F and it involved a great deal of very difficult walking and climbing. We found the outcome was worth the effort but it was exhausting. Lunch was in a beautiful area by the water.

Excellent tour with our taxi and tour guide Alex. Wonderful sights and rich information from Alex which added an extra dimension. We went at our own pace "Don't worry about the clock, just enjoy" said Alex, and we did. A great day and wonderful lunch in Nafplio. 10/10
