Travel with us to communist Budapest.
Since the loss of World War II, until the 90s, Hungary became a satellite state of the USSR, and the life of the Hungarian people changed completely.
During the tour we will visit the most emblematic places of great historical value, related to the Soviet era.
We will enter the Museum of the Revolution of 1956. Full of symbols.
We will take a ride on tram 2, which crosses the Danube River, to reach the Technological University, the headquarters from which the 1956 Revolution began.
In the Great Central Market, we will talk about rationing and how they lived their day to day.
We will also talk, spies, and we will revive the street guerrillas.
You will learn about art, Soviet cinema and censorship. Do you know what bone music is? Or that in Hungary they had their own “Bud Spencer”?
We will put an end to the tour in Covin mozi, the epicenter of the resistance in the 1956 Revolution.
