Overview

Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

We didn't see any dolphins because the weather was rough, but the trip was worth to go, next year we will be here again, I recommend it, my kids love the ocean.

Great boat tour for the family

Great boat ride. Saw several dolphins and the crew were friendly. I was initially worried about a 2.5 y.o. on a boat but it was enclosed enough to feel safe. Glad we brought our own snacks for the kiddos.

The boat tour was nice, the hosts were knowledgeable, and we were able to see dolphins! The weather turned out to be very nice.

The crew was friendly and nice. My daughter had some nerves about going on the water but they did a great job alleviating her fears. We saw a lot of dolphins. It was a good experience. Just a little cold (in December) and I should have bought a jacket.
