Overview

This traditional Ligurian gozzo departing directly from Monterosso offers a unique way to experience the beauty of the Cinque Terre in style. The large sundeck is perfect for relaxing while admiring breathtaking views and exploring the secrets of this unique coast and for those who want to enjoy the sea intensely. The tour will pass in front of all five villages (the Cinque Terre), with time to stop and take magnificent photos, a unique opportunity to swim in our turquoise sea and to discover and explore our famous small inaccessible coves. To finish on board of our boat we will offer a tasting of our famous “Pesto Cinque Terre” and our Focaccia. Water, local wine and beer will be available during the tour. The departure times are indicative and must be agreed upon after booking.

We are waiting for you at Molo dei Pescatori in the small port of Monterosso (before the big tourist boats). Look for our AZURE boat.

Itinerary

  • Monterosso al Mare (Pass By)

    The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the “new” side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel that connects the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre.

  • Vernazza (Pass By)

    Vernazza the smallest of the Cinque Terre, and commonly known as the most fascinating with a beautiful marina and the Church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which sits right on the harbor as a protective lighthouse for the small village.

  • Corniglia (Pass By)

    Corniglia: lying 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north.

  • Manarola (Pass By)

    Manarola: is located at the other end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà found only in this area.

  • Riomaggiore (Pass By)

    While we continue to sail along the coast of the Cinque Terre villages, we meet Riomaggiore. With brightly colored houses built vertically on the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five towns and is widely known for excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore pedestrian path begins, leading to nearby Manarola.

Great Private Boat Tour with Simone as our guide! Highly recommend!

Simone called us to say he was there early if we wanted to get started, which we did! His boat was easy to find at the meeting spot in Monterosso. We immediately liked him....he was so friendly, funny and informative throughout the whole trip. We could ask him any question we had & he answered it. His main concern was that we had an enjoyable time, which we did! We saw the five cities of the Cinque Terre and he stopped & let the guys swim (it was a beautiful day in November). The trip included beverages & the local focaccia bread & delicious homemade pesto from his mother! But what impressed us most was the music he played on the trip. We are from Minnesota & the first two songs he played were from Bob Dylan & Prince (who are both from Minnesota)! We were so surprised! Now that is someone who cares enough about his clients to research them! We highly recommend this trip with Simone!!!

Lovely Cinque Terre boat tour!

Simone was prompt when he showed up, very friendly and informative throughout the whole trip. His main concern was that we had an enjoyable time, which we did! We saw the five cities of the Cinque Terre and he stopped and let us go swimming in a cave. The trip included beverages including a great local white wine, Vermentino, which was perfect for our 75° sunny day in mid October. It also included the local focaccia bread and he brought homemade pesto from his mother, which was delicious! Highly recommend this trip!!!

Fantastic tour with the wonderful Simone. This tour was recommended by our daughter and son-in-law, who described it as the highlight of their vacation. Simone expertly guided the Olga through the waters and provided a nice history of the region. And his mama’s pesto was out of this world!!
