The Loop

The area most associated with gangster era crime and haunting is know as “The Loop”. This was the cities vice district during the roaring 20’s and 1930’s riddled with speakeasy saloons, secret underground tunnels used by bootleggers and the headquarters of famous gangsters such as Al Capone. The tour is about 1.5 miles long with frequents stops and a refreshment/restroom break.

Taka was our guide and she was fantastic. We had such a good time, she was a very good story teller, loud and clear. Lots of interesting information. We learned alot and had a lot of fun.

Love Walking Around Chicago--Even When it's Bitter Cold!

It was a very cold, windy Chicago night but the tour guide braved it out so we did too--and so glad we did! It was interesting listening to all of the stories about Chicago while wallking around the streets at night. We really enjoyed the tour but will never swim in the water in and around Chicago! Lol

Karinna was our guide for this tour and she was fantastic! Temperature outside was 10 degrees and her excitement and enthusiasm for her tour made us completely forget about it! She was so packed full of knowledge and it was clear to us that she is bought into her job here. Highly recommend.
